Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Well, interesting night result. Pretty good for town, specially if we have a Watcher.
I think the Lighting Rod (or Magnet) is usually a town role, so if Food is the Rod he is likely town.
I don't get the emc and Chaqa thing but I don't want to push them to claim if they don't want.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I feel like this game is about to devolve into the most convoluted mechanics analysis... I suppose that was inevitable.

A Role Madness game with a closed setup, in which there was no flip D1 and no kill N1?
Yeah that's where we're at right now.

What I am misunderstanding? Aren't the Rod a towny role?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I cannot imagine the Lightning Rod being a scum role that they would actually use.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I did not target foodcoats
I was told my night action was unable to reach foodcoats
thus scum person who carried kill probably got that pm also.
and all night actions were refunded I assume?

I have reading and vote analysis to do but based on what i've seen so far, and a touch of meta, I want to sizzle the burrito a bit

##CALL GM
If there was a Lightning Rod, at what point would its activation occur, in your order of night actions?

HOT TAKE
That wasn't exactly a Lightning Rod (despite the flavour)…. that was some Worcej homebrew combination of a Lightning Rod and a NEXUS:

Yeah, then Food is the Lighning Rod, probably town.
Since you were unable to reach Food, it means he was in jail or something like that, so there's probably a Jailor.

Good question. Usually, I would say, but it's a matter of GM discretion.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I think the easiest and most straightforward thing would be for any lightning rod to claim?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Well, at least you've got doritos
ain't the answer to that on the already answered side? lol
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
If he commuted, and there was a normal Lightning Rod, then your action would have been redirected onto the Lightning Rod, not onto the Commuter.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
If he had commuted he would not have attracted every single action.
