Well that reminded me of my first...something else.

I'm trying to keep up on researching roles.

Assuming the janitor role is limited and Donny wasn't the janitor.
Which situations would make using this ability worth it right now?

Was thinking. If you had one shot of janitor, isn't it always best to use it day 1 to maintain as much confusion as possible for as long as possible?

Yes! Donny's alignment is still a Schroedinger alignment. Sadly we don't glean anything from his death. Well played, scum.

I think it makes the most sense that Donny was scum. The Janitor power is usually deployed on the NK, and they generally only have one or two uses (usually only one, I think?). This is very speculative, but my guess is that the Janitor saw Donny going down hard, noticed (or it was pointed out by the secretary) that the role PM did not specify that it had to be used during the night phase, and decided to try to salvage the situation.

It's really just WIFOM. We don't get a lot of info from Donny's death unless we get speculative, and then we're potentially being misled by scum who know what Donny really was and can manipulate the situation as they like.

I don't like that you're telling us Donny's alignment. We don't know it and we shouldn't really even bother to think too hard on it or draw correlations. We should continue to evaluate other players based on their actions, not their relationship to Donny.

I'm not insisting Donny was scum. Obviously we don't know for sure. I'm saying that I think he was. We can't just put Donny and Day 1 in a box labeled "no obvious answers here."

This is still extremely weird to me. It's not the typical self-vote of someone frustrated because under pressure, because nobody was really pushing him and there was a single vote on him at the time (Neph), with several wagons at 3 or 4. It made no sense then and I can't make any sense of it now.
