Haha I'm guessing worcej was scum? Honestly as scum I usually distance from the D1 wagon so I also sound like myscumself. :-D

With 14 votes though it kinda looks like bussing. Scum wouldn't all pile on as quickly if Donny was town.
Come on, everybody is voting him, town or scum, I didn't vote him before because I want to see if someone will try to save him, but if he is scum, his teammates just jumped on him.
The Tracker claim is interesting. Not what I expect from a scum Donny as it's a provable role, but with daychat it might have been teached.
If I was scum why would I leak there being a daychat to draw attention to myself
Would that not be a shitty move?
The point isn't the day chat but you talking about a role that is really uncommon and used last time in another game Worcej was GM. It could be just coincidence but in this case you are one of the most unlucky players I have ever seen.

Action Matrix:

Donny Scum, We lynch him -> Great!
Donny Scum, We don't lynch him -> He misleads us as Tracker
Donny Tracker, We lynch him -> Information gained
Donny Tracker, We don't lynch him -> He gives us info as Tracker

The issue with scenario 4 (and 2) is that any info we get from him as a Tracker is not reliable. Mafia will either roleblock him, or they will instruct him to claim roleblock, while roleblocking their nightkill targets.

I think he's probably the Tracker, but I don't think the logic works out to make it better to not just lynch him and know for sure.

The most utility and information his role can reasonably give us now is as a corpse, even if he is the Tracker.
I agree

I'd like more than that.
Summit, I am current lynch
Why do you care?
You did see my vote move away from you, no?
I don't see that
Why would you make a false claim then.

I also believe Mafia could have a secretary, this is because votes have fluctuated a bit
I could totally be wrong though and have no basis for this claim.
Were you saying that you thought mafia had a day chat? If so, did you consider other reasons why mafia might have a day chat?
Yes,
I could not come up with a better theory
Why did you think a secretary would result in the votes fluctuating?

It would scum to make pushes as needed and allow for them to drive town and identify 3p

I feel pretty town vibes coming from Donny here. But I could also see his scum teammates telling him to "give up" and accept his lynch as a possible way of getting out of it.

UGH

OOOOOOH.

@brain - I mean, he's outed and not going to be believed, so... probably better just to get hard information now.

If I had a gun, I'd probably shoot him just to give us the chance of a 2-for-1.

I'd be open to the idea of leaving him be for a day to let any existing vigilante take a shot at him, maybe.

I agree with Chaqa. This should probably worry me.

He's feeling towny. But still no explenation has been given for how he knew what a secretary is and he got to that information without knowing the inner workings of the bot. When given the opportunity he couldnt even produce a link to it.

People might claim he would be helped by his teammates by now....but the way the M46 secretary worked was that only the secretary could talk during the day.

Donny is probably the secretary himself, or one unlucky towny that did some very weird diving into old games, that then for some reason became completely incapable of explaining the whatifs and hows.

I dno, it should probably just be lynched but im no longer as hyped about this situation

Not sure what you're talking about.

Your vote is still on me and you have only really read me outside of your sudden flash post and read post
You should read my wall.
All of summits posts in one place

Well this is a massive amount of information
and I don't know any of the meta so I'm just
going to sit back and observe.

Curious why @Donny has started +1'ing
a bunch of posts.

↑Foxcastle: "I strongly discourage "sit back and observe." Ask questions! Get people to respond to you!"
Seems like good advice which has a townie ring to it.

Not sure. Just getting those vibes.

##VOTE Donny

Jamie and Fox have voted against each other.

Well the coffee is made and I'm catching up here.

Massclaiming:

Against (in one form or another)

Jamie
Brain
Rdrivea
Chaqa
Nephthys (pointed out xor was keen)

For (in one form or another)

Xorxes
Donny
Vecna
Bozo
Fox (claim a role you're not)
Demon (didn't like rating importance, said mass claim or or don't do shit)
Donny (rate role importance)

This isn't accusatory at all and some of these for and againsts are probably neutral. Just thoughts from my notes trying to clarify what happened in that discussion.

I have no idea if massclaiming is ever good. I'd assume you're guaranteed to get more true responses than false responses but how damaging can the false responses be?

Jamie: No idea. Seems like a goof that could do this kind of stuff regardless. Previous meta with Fox?

Brain: Leaning town. Seems like a goof that could do this kind of stuff regardless.

Xorxes: Find them evasive. Investigated bot comment on Donny and that effort makes me lean town.

Donny: Very defensive; could be a natural trait. Seems to respect experience and cares what others have to think about them. Definitely not sold on scum. Found the role importance push strange.

emc: Initial impressions are town

chaqa: curious to find out if they'd +1 every post as a troll. town or 3p

Neph: Lean scum. claimed dargo was under most suspicion and that chaq may be signalling to scumteam. then showed concern that reads were being made too much on meta. doesn't like dargo's post which seemed innocent to me (#432). Pointed out he considered bozo to be best late game player. These things seem to be sowing the seeds of confusion and also perhaps pointing out concerns of his to other scum.

Sarah: Again defensive.. Natural weak lean to scum based on that.

Also joining closed game wasn't the brightest idea. I am growing concerned that mass +1'ing could try to cover up the real +1'ing that is only needed in a few instances.

↑SarahK24: "In what ways am I being defensive"
Is there anything else in my post that you found interesting?

↑Donny Dude: "I would like to call attention to Bismark's one post
Also Summit and Flash
They seem to either be busy or lurking and I ..."
Someone else suggested they were mislead into believing you are engaging moreso than you are. Any other thoughts that don't involve post counts?

↑SarahK24: "I find it interesting that you are mass claiming so soon
Also your read on xorces is wierd
What quotes lead you to think..."
To answer your questions:

I'm not massclaiming. I assembled my notes on that early conversation and put out a question about it.

I agree my reads are weird on Xorx... I can't see through one way or the other.

EMC came in and +1'd everybody and became quite chatty putting out thoughts when the game was dying down for the day. Seems townish to me.

I don't know anything about the meta.

↑xorxes: "What goofy stuff from brain are you referring to?
I'm not sure how any of the bolded things could be considered scumm..."
Regarding brain mostly the quotes. I hadn't fully read the thread and was referring to earlier posts. Have him townie. Any ideas on voting end?

Regarding Neph: Maybe they aren't. Just a general impression that these posts aren't trying to dim the fog of war. D1 content seems quite useless until it can be linked to future actions. Is it common to try to emphasise the late game ability of players? Seems that would be a warning to other scum.

↑xorxes: "brain voting end means very little, there's zero chance we would end early today and he knows it. Maybe a way to pressur..."
Thanks for clarifying. I don't think Neph has really said anything else. I believe food thought Neph gets misread early a lot and I can believe that. I just can't find anything in his history that would suggest an attempt to help the town.

Nonetheless ##VOTE flash

You around Flash? Why so quiet?

↑Nephthys: "I had to laugh at this, too pure"
Gave me a chuckle :D

Just a thought"
What feels off to me is how quiet the game is at this time compared to yesterday. Sarah is a great distraction and scum are probably satisfied with how the voting is going. What are your thoughts Neph?

I don't know how to read her. I did lean slightscum. I am aware she played this same style while townie in a previous game. Anybody think she would be capable of pulling out the same style in her first scum game?

He could also be a townie that was growing increasingly concerned he was at risk of being lynched. If Donny is scum he's done a fairly good job today getting some of the heat off his back. I'm currently more neutral on him, and feeling more confused.

any thoughts on brainbomb's analysis marche?

Do you still think kgray is scummy?

That was a juicy read.

##VOTE Donny

@Donny

So the +1'ing was just for kicks?

↑Donny Dude: "I will add that theorizing is one of things I am better at."
Why were you so defensive towards me compared to other players
voting and suggesting you?

↑Donny Dude: "I dunno
Gut feeling
Bad vibes
Maybe it is wrong"
I'd like more than that.

↑Donny Dude: "Summit, I am current lynch
Why do you care?"
You did see my vote move away from you, no?

↑Donny Dude: "Claim as in a false statement"
Not sure what you're talking about.
Anyways, I'm not interested in lynching town under
any circumstances.

I feel I have to dispel some concerns I have read about me lurking. I am simply trying to read through the posts and come up with my reasons to voting how I vote. I am a teacher, and our predicament on this island started at the same time as assessment season at my school (which is functioning via Zoom). Add to that I am in an opposite time zone, so when I am awake most of you are catching ZZZZs. For example, I have been putting an exam online for the last few hours after 8 hours of school, dinner and a little downtime, and now It is 2:30am and time to sleep.
