Also, the other players' thoughts on you seem legit to me. It looks like you're a newbie pretending not to know how to play, i guess this is one of the most used strategies... i used it myself a lot in werewolves, so this makes me think you may be actually be scum.

Oddly enough this was mainly directed at brainbomb - I wanted him to keep note on his Donny read for later, because he's probably right but will succumb to brainbomb-ness and forget about it in a day.

I don't know how to read her. I did lean slightscum. I am aware she played this same style while townie in a previous game. Anybody think she would be capable of pulling out the same style in her first scum game?

Considering that her particular style consists mostly of evading questions and posting irrelevant commentary, yeah. I'd say it would be pretty easy to pull off that same style.

Interesting take though after scumreading Foodcoats for flipping his thoughts.

Just goes to show; town can change their minds. I can see it, being suspicious of people using the route of "we need to lynch this day1" and seeing it can come from scum, but then looking at the over-the-place play and thinking it could be flailing scum.

I'm not scumreading foodcoats for changing his mind. I'm scumreading him for dismissing the case against Sarah and shading the people pushing her, and then giving pretty lame reasons to change his mind once the wagon picked up and it seemed like a safe vote. I think her play had gotten better between foodcoats' first post calling out rdr and chaqa and his post where he voted for her.

Meta reads are a very important part of Mafia. I just wish I had unlimited time to trudge through previous scenarios and tabulate how our resident islanders behaved when they were our brothers and sisters, and how the same people behaved when they were the enemy within. My memory is shot when it comes to meta reads. So, the wily old hands on this lovely island can keep sharing those gold musings of meta folklore while the amazing PeterBot is in iso of its own.
Meanwhile, I like the ongoing analysis of the Xorxes/Chaqa/Nephthys interaction for a possible first lynch vote.

This is the only post he made. It is a gimmicky post complaining about meta and him not having enough time. It is just meant to sound good, but its a generic fluffpost that he tries really hard to sound fluffy by adding all kinds of funny big words.

I agree with this, Bismarck's post seems very sketchy. But it also reminds me of pjandy's posts from M54 (putting effort into flavor/humor, and then just lurking), and he turned out to be town.
