I assume someone else already harassed Jamiet for why he changed the characters in the quote? If not, why did you do that, Jamiet? (I'm asking on behalf of yourself, since if you weren't the one to have done it, you would have been insistent on an explanation...)

I'm pretty sure that the word "towntell" was used in this respect, either by you or by worcej. Let me look it up, wait a sec... Fair enough, it was worcej:Foxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:57 amI find this to be a mischaracterization. I don't assert that I always look scummy, I assert that people think I do; and it's not a towntell, it's a baseline. But it's really up to town, isn't it.
In any case, my impression was that you and him were arguing more or less the same thing.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
If you know you are town, any lynch is better than yourself because there is a chance they are scum.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:48 amTwo reasonsxorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:46 amHow does voting for yourself help with any of that?Donny Dude wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:43 amBecause Brainbomb has been fixated on me being scum nearly the entire game and I want to know if he has any other scum reads because if I am so scummy,
Why is he voting for Flash?
one I have outlined
two. I currently don't see any good lynches

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Maybe if we'd had this conversation last game, we'd have caught him, because I'm not/wasn't saying it's a towntell. I think that's an important distinction.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 1:06 amI'm pretty sure that the word "towntell" was used in this respect, either by you or by worcej. Like, going to the trouble to resize the 0s...
But it turns out that the right way to match 0 to o is to go with size=73, like this: o0
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Unless you're worcej.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:58 amThe only way someone prefers to be lynched over someone else is if they are scum trying to save a more valuable teammate. Otherwise, as town, you would always prefer to lynch someone who has a chance of being scum than you who you would know for sure is town.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:48 amTwo reasons

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I agree that Donny could definitely be scum and succumbed to newb-scum nerves.

Interesting. You do not seem heated or pissed off at all.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 1:06 amTold you I am donny from Big lebowski and all over the place

##VOTE Donny Dude
I am always willing to vote for someone who votes for themselves.

He could also be a townie that was growing increasingly concerned he was at risk of being lynched. If Donny is scum he's done a fairly good job today getting some of the heat off his back. I'm currently more neutral on him, and feeling more confused.

I did not mean to imply you were not aware of the implications. Call it what you want, but if you are mafia, you were asking a question that you already knew the answer to, and therefore constructing a question to make you look like town.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 11:21 pmWell, it obviously was not a slip of any kind, real or constructed, since I was perfectly aware of the implications of what I was asking, and it is strange that you would think I may not have been.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 10:47 pmI meant that it was a "blatant townslip" (disregarding 3P) because the mafia would know if they have a factional roleblock, and that I also wondered if it could be constructed.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:28 pm
Not sure what you mean. You thought I was townslipping? How could what I said be a townslip? If anything it would be a scumslip because I guessed correctly what only scum could have known.
Or if what you thought was related to what TheMarche said, I don't see the connection.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Fine, but obviously not a townslip. There's no way you can conclude anything interesting from that question, because it is something I would have asked as either alignment when I noticed that worcej had most likely had an oversight.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 1:29 amI did not mean to imply you were not aware of the implications. I meant that it was a "blatant townslip" (disregarding 3P) because the mafia would know if they have a factional roleblock, and that I also wondered if it could be constructed.
It's very different from a townslip, which is something someone does unaware of what they are doing. So even if you believe I'm town, you cannot call that a townslip.

Of brain? I would consider it supporting evidence if he does something actually scummy.Nephthys wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:52 pmOoooo
I'm curious how this affects your read of him?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
finally someone who connects A to B
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
As with all things, im towny until I mislynch anyone or try to save a scum by accident. thus the sport of mafia is to not do those things.
