When trying to send a message in this game: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=290435, I get the error popup alert message: "Error while sending message" and I get an error "ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED" in the Chrome developer console.
This occurs for both player-to-player messages and global messages. This only occurs while I am connected to a VPN. This is not a critical issue for me - I can just disable my VPN, but still, it would be useful to be able to send messages while connected to my VPN. Windows 10 / latest Chrome.

Re: Cannot send in-game messages while on VPN
This is probably more a problem of your VPN. I spend all my day connected to my customers VPN's, and i always have to connect/disconnect or even to stop and restart services... Forticlient usually kills all htpps connections (though it depends on how it is configured server-side), Forcepoint lets you go on the Internet but blocks any other VPN's, OpenVPN more or less works with everything else, IBM F5 even blocks Outlook...

Re: Cannot send in-game messages while on VPN
I use a private vpn as well as a work vpn, that's just one of the downsides of various vpn's is delayed connections or blocked requests/etc. Unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna be able to help you out there. The one thing you can try is switching between https and http. See if one or the other works. It's a long shot but it's the best I have for you.

Did you have a look in the network tab in the developer tools?
