Well I wouldn't shoot right now if waiting was an option, but if I did have to shoot right now it would probably be Sarah. I can understand new people being overwhelmed but it really bugs me that she doesn't seem to care at all how town would play the game. And this isn't her first game anymore, so there are things she should have figured out by now that she seems to be missing. I don't know if it's intentional because she's scum, but even if she's not I agree with rivera that it's a mistake to keep her around if she won't even try.

Well I get that it's no longer my first game... but I mean yall didn't teach me much so it's kinda hard figuring random shit out on my own.....
Last time I was town... and who is to say I'm town again... who knows. But I am trying and I dont think I should be lynched I haven't done anything terribly wrong..... yet

If you are interesting in learning from others instead of having to figure things out on your own, I suggest you answer my question about last game. If you explain what you were thinking and why you were voting the way you were, we would be in a better position to help you learn.

It wasn't bozo who initiated it, nor did he push for it.

I asked about it, and bozo answered, saying that he wouldn't mind a mass, but knows it wouldn't happen so nvm.
I don't see the value of a massclaim. Xorxes, I did find your reason why, but I disagree. Seems to me that it wouldn't be that hard for scum to choose a fake. But they would gain lots of Intel.

Bozo seems to be operating on a revenge motivation. Sarah should have listened last time. So he's lynching her this time.

That is not why I am voting for Sarah, and that is not the reason I was asking her about last game. xorxes did not listen to me last game either, but I understand what he was thinking. The primary goal of my question was to start a conversation that I hoped would help prevent a repeat of last game. The reason I am voting for he is that so far she has been evasive. She had also used an excuse that I consider a scum tell.

I am giving scum points to rdr and Chaqa for arguing that we should vote Sarah because she is bad-town. I have played scum and 3P more than I have played town on here, and "this person is scum OR bad-town so they're a positive EV lynch" is a great D1 argument that I enjoy employing from those perspectives.

As town, personally, I don't want to lynch any town, and it's bit early to be arguing as though we are out of options and therefore should policy Sarah based on the last game, isn't it?

No, it's not early. Later we just can't afford policy lynches and we will end with her on lylo again (if she isn't scum, which is as likely as any other on D1). I told this on D2 last game and no one listened me. The only thing that can be said against this is that she can be a valuable role.

I have no idea if massclaiming is ever good. I'd assume you're guaranteed to get more true responses than false responses but how damaging can the false responses be?

Can you explain what you think the main goal of town is in this game, and how you think we can accomplish that goal?

Main goal of town is to not die or kill eachother... they want all the scum to die

We can accomplish this goal by analyzing messages and tone to figure out who is who... we can share our thoughts and hope that we don't die in the process

It feels standard for xorxes, but it is unusual that brainbomb, who is incredibly experienced at Mafia and very creative in his interpretation of the game state, did not consider 1) daychat 2) an inventor role.
