I do not want chaos and disunity. I want opportunities for scum to leave tracks and make mistakes. Day 1 is important for that.

@xorxes, I guess this means you also weren't paying attention and missed the "purpose" of Fox's fluff? Would you say that you not reading carefully is a sign that you're scum?

I missed Fox's vote even though I explicitly looked to see if he had done the same thing as Jamie. In fact I now went back and it took me quite a while to find it, it was much more hidden. The reasons probably are that he used all lowercase and split it in two lines. Plus, I was already familiar with Jamie's background text so I didn't need to find out what it was, whereas with Fox's I had to Google it and I came to the conclusion that it was a plausible crumb. I obviously did not read the whole thing.

But your question is backwards anyways, I said I could NOT take it as as sign of scumminess.

What's your story, when did you notice the votes were there?

My question is not "backwards" because I wasn't using it to imply that you're scum. It was somewhat rhetorical, but it's something I'm honestly thinking about. If xorxes isn't reading closely (but is also calling out other people for not reading closely), does that make xorxes more likely to be scum?

And I also did not read all of either Jamie's or Fox's posts. I don't think it's scummy that you didn't. But I do think it is interesting that you called out Fox missing Jamie's vote without noticing Fox's vote. Even if you did go look for it, I would think you'd have looked a bit harder.

I noticed Jamie's vote when I saw your response to his post, and I went back to look for what you'd seen. When Flash "corrected" Jamie's post I assumed he was replacing Jamie's vote for Fox with his own vote, but I couldn't find that so I searched the page for ##. That's when I saw Fox's vote for Jamie.

I'm still not sure what Flash's post was about. He posted something different than Jamie did, and I did not see the point of it.

I haven't paid that much attention to it, but can go back and look at it when the bot is up. But I'm pretty null on her. I don't really see re-litigating last game as a justification for anything this game. Bozo is mistaken in pushing it, but Sarah could be responding to it as any alignment.

Can you explain what you think the main goal of town is in this game, and how you think we can accomplish that goal?

Main goal of town is to not die or kill eachother... they want all the scum to die

We can accomplish this goal by analyzing messages and tone to figure out who is who... we can share our thoughts and hope that we don't die in the process

Okay, I'll buy that. So if town needs to not die, how can they make that happen? How do you think a townie can convince the rest of town not to lynch them?

And, I like what you're saying about analyzing and sharing thoughts. What kinds of things are you looking for to help you figure out who is who? Can you share them with us so we can see where you're coming from?

More important than not dying is figuring out who is scum. Town have to lynch scum to win. So, if what you find in your analysis helps us do that, then as long as you're posting your reads on the game, even if you die you're helping town.

Not a bad point. I dont understand why bozo was harping about last games message to her about worcej and damo.
its a new game. worcej is the gm.

probably the greatest gm ever in fact. I dont think there has ever been a man so great as worcej in all of human history.

I am not claiming that having everyone guess the number of scum and 3rd party is doing anything useful now, or that it won't be WIFOMY later. But it could be useful information, and it's certainly better than no information.

I am giving scum points to rdr and Chaqa for arguing that we should vote Sarah because she is bad-town. I have played scum and 3P more than I have played town on here, and "this person is scum OR bad-town so they're a positive EV lynch" is a great D1 argument that I enjoy employing from those perspectives.

As town, personally, I don't want to lynch any town, and it's bit early to be arguing as though we are out of options and therefore should policy Sarah based on the last game, isn't it?

it made it look like hes high energy out the gate. but instead hes only posted 6 times
