Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I will admit to being a bit lost.
I must admit though that Summit's claim and posts have mostly been focused on me, which is odd. You can take a look.
I won't hold it against anyone though if I am lynched because it is my first time playing.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Not that i am an expert anyway. But I don't think a new player's town messages would sound like this.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Don't worry, it's still my first impression. I need to read again everything to confirm my opinions. I surely missed something interesting in those 22 pages.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:42 amI will admit to being a bit lost.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I asked you a question about last game because from reading the last day of that game, it was not clear to me why you were voting the way you were, and that is relevant to this game in that it is helpful to know the reasons for your votes if you are town and are trying to hep solve the game.
I am currently voting for you because so far you seem to be evasive, first by claiming you do not remember what I was was asking about, then by saying it does not have anything to do with this game.
Do you understand why rdrivera wanted to lynch you early in the previous game?

Does your role allow you to communicate with players outside of the game thread?

Good morning!
The last page I saw before sleeping was page 17. Give me a little while to get up to speed. Someone claimed something did they? Let me see.

And I was right. Honestly, I think we should lynch her today in this game too. But I doubt the giant egos around would agree with this, they need to make a brilliant catch con D1 instead of playing for the team.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 8:37 amI asked you a question about last game because from reading the last day of that game, it was not clear to me why you were voting the way you were, and that is relevant to this game in that it is helpful to know the reasons for your votes if you are town and are trying to hep solve the game.

I still think that Donny Dude is town. And it's not too scummy to be scum, but the way he approached the game. His suggestion isn't good obviously, you either massclaim or not, but he saw a discussion on this and sticked his neck to make a suggestion. This doesn't seem a newbie scum to me.

I don't see a "claim" from Summit.Donny Dude wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:42 amI will admit to being a bit lost.

Could you clarify, please?

Missed this as well. I don't think worcej said anywhere about when the chat will be opened, so brainbomb may actually be scum. Is it common in these games to have the mafia chat opened later? I never played like that, but if it's not a common thing we can go and lynch brainbomb

Mafia daychat is very unusual here. In webDip Mafia we normally only have Mafia chat at night. However there have occasionally been exceptions. Very occasionally. In particular I believe there can be a role which, while alive, permits the Mafia chat to be open during the day.TheMarche wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:50 amMissed this as well. I like this person for a possible first lynch voteBismarckAlive wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:39 amMeta reads are a very important part of Mafia. I just wish I had unlimited time to trudge through previous scenarios and tabulate how our resident islanders behaved when they were our brothers and sisters, and how the same people behaved when they were the enemy within. My memory is shot when it comes to meta reads. So, the wily old hands on this lovely island can keep sharing those gold musings of meta folklore while the amazing PeterBot is in iso of its own.
Meanwhile, I like the ongoing analysis of the Xorxes/Chaqa/Nephthys interaction for a possible first lynch vote.
Now, off to my teaching day...

you pocketed me as well, you good towny boifoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:43 amDude it's cool, I think you are town. Here just to look in my pocket a second-xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:12 amWhat? How can that be a townslip? There's lying and then there's lying. Of course scum have to lie in the sense of pretending to be town, but that's different than having to make up a role they don't have, or having to decide whether they want to reveal whatever role they do have.
*interdimensional timespace pocketing of xorxes complete*
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
but still quite likely to have a normal roleblock given the specific rules on adjudication for the RB stepworcej wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:45 amAnother good catch. I apologize for my ineptitude - They have a faction kill, but not a faction RB.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:39 amI see, yes:

GENERAL RULES
9. All players must not +1 other players' posts. However you are greatly encouraged to +1 any GM posts. In fact, I would say this is mandatory but I doubt most of you will read this little bit in here hehe...
ELABORATION
9. You are permitted to click the "+1" on any other player's in-game posts because I (worcej) think it is fun and it will be interesting to see who reads these rules or not. Giving +1s to the GM is actively encouraged because I like karma. Like I said earlier, should be mandatory if you ask me...
But now when checking that I run into this:
That suggests that Mafia have a factional nightkill and a factional roleblock. Is that correct, or was that a leftover from general rules that may not apply to this game?ROLE ACTIONS:
If you have any actions to take, please PM your action the GMs. Night actions will be processed at the end of the night and can be changed up to that point. Mafia's nightkill and roleblock will be voted on in the mafia chat.

I feel my D1 reads on nephtys have been correct for about 6 our of 7 games we played together.foodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:47 amLet's not lynch Neph D1, I feel like Neph gets misread early a lot.BismarckAlive wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:39 amMeta reads are a very important part of Mafia. Ill withhold final judgement for now, but the initial impresison aint looking good.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Ok, thank you. So probably the best posts to understand who's scum are between the first two days, where at start they may accuse each other for they don't know who their allies are and then change opinion in the second day. I definitely should find another half an hour to write down who accused who to try to see what happens in the second day.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 9:55 amMafia daychat is very unusual here. Interesting. You'd agree with me that my early gutreads on you are often correct? Or at least maybe once day1 is through?Nephthys wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:59 amVecna ma boifoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:47 amLet's not lynch Neph D1, I feel like Neph gets misread early a lot.BismarckAlive wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:39 amMeta reads are a very important part of Mafia.
