Can you stop with this, Brainbomb? Isn't this "angleshooting" that you're so adamant should be against the rules? There's no place in the game for trying to create confusion based on out-of-game angles about the GMs intention and actions.

No. It's like when you make cheating accusations in the thread, or when somebody invokes the GM as a ploy. Besides that it should be out of bounds, saying that the GM is running some secret backend to the game is a shitty thing to do; the GM has to either sit there and take it or intervene and interrupt the flow of game.

Hey. I made actual GM calls for things that are legitimate reasons to call the GM, and Chaqa confirmed he didn't mind public GM calls.

Whereas you, Brainbomb, while I think you're probably town.... you LIED about exchanges of PMs with the GM which is a really shitty fucking thing to do and a borderline rule violation if you ask me. Bo_Sox also tried to bring the GM into the game, on D1, in a way which was pretty shitty.

I thought you had some really good points back when we were setting up M40 about angleshooting and fair play in these games, so it irritates me more to see you pushing the line on that.

Fox, in order for those rules to matter they have to be ratified and accepted by the community. you cant pay lipservice to a code of conduct that no one actually tries to pass.

Now that you have prompted me to do so, I notice that EMC actually had Sarah as his top scumread during D1(!). That's certainly worth noting.

EMC, I now also notice, has more-or-less said nothing about any reads since D1. He's made 14 posts today but urgh, there's hardly any substance to any of them.

I don't think the "noob" explanation really carries that far (to explain away all her current posts) - Off the top of my head see me, bob, kit, flav - there's definitely more people I'm forgetting.

and playing up being confused when you are confused is incredibly, incredibly easy. So I think that is a possibility.

Voting came to be not necessarily a strong scumread of any sort but out of not really scumreading any of the top wagons then.

Sarah was not my top scumread Day 1.

I voted her because I did not scumread strongly enough any of the top wagons at the time, and like rivera has said, it is like reading a non-entity. It did not appear she would improve in terms of activity or content, and was both a decent placeholder and final vote, should it come to that. Should it be a mislynch it would not be a terrible loss, compared to other possible mislynches.

I do not think the "she is a noob" explanation can excuse away her posts, even if this is her very first game. For example, see me, bob, kit, flav - all of which were first games and at the very least readable, as scum or town.

To say in any way that this is Sarah trying is condescending. There is a possibility that shouldn't be denied that her current "I'm not sure" is amped up - as it's incredibly easy to play "lost and confused" when you are confused, to a point.

If you're scum with her, you obviously want her to continue doing so, as it's working - so the argument that if she was scum she would be improving today from coaching falls flat.
