I do not have any questions for you at this time.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:38 pmAdditionally, do you plan on asking me any questions? I've been waiting patiently. Another possibility is that bo_sox, Foxcastle, and SK24 are all town. In this case, BunnyGo is probably scum, taking the opportunity to correctly declare bo_sox and Foxcastle are town. Or, it could be worcej, who has essentially done the same thing, although it is unlikely to be both. The other scum would probably be taking the the opportunity to vote for bo_sox or Foxcastle, such as Jamie, brainbomb, xorxes, and rdrivera.
Or, bo_sox and SK24 could be scum, with or without Foxcastle.
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
The fact that I'm moderately impressed with your gameplay despite following the wrong path leads me to one of two conclusions: either you're getting better at this game and will probably be critical in solving it, or you're scum and have put a significant amount of effort into getting me lynched. So potentially yes. That said, I ask you that question because regardless of your role, you're going to have to go down that road if you lynch me and your logic does not account for that potential without also flipping Sarah and Fox and them also being town. In the hypothetical event that all three of us are lynched consecutively and are all town, that's three days out of I believe four we can mathematically spare, so town bozo probably doesn't want to go all the way down that road just to prove himself right or wrong. Given all of that, please answer my question carrying the assumption that I am town, because regardless of your role you need to figure out what you're going to do.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:39 pmI would have to reevaluate with that new information plus whatever other new information we get. OK, maybe in that case he could be nervous. It would still be an odd reaction, not the same as being frustrated by a teammate's incompetence.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:36 pmEven if he was bussing Foxcastle and SK24's vote made both of them look suspect?xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:32 pmNot enough to produce a reaction like that. He would even welcome being tied to a townie in that way.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:28 pm
Her vote for Foxcastle 3 minutes after his made him look suspect, if he is scum and that was just a coincidence, that would be frustrating.
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
And that's the problem. I'm right here. You just referred to "whatever other new information we get" but are not actively seeking new information. Maybe I change your mind in the next couple of hours. Maybe I don't. Maybe I make you far more confident than you currently are - and I suspect that if you're town you aren't that confident, because your case is statistically insignificant crap that leans on my behavior in games long gone and you've already acknowledged that.
This is the issue with how things have gone. You and the three others voting for me have been consistently on my case for some time now, but particularly you. You are not attempting to push my lynch in any way. You said that you went out of your way to avoid voting for me when Fox was the leading wagon to spur discussion, but I'm giving you an opportunity to discuss things and you don't care to do so. There are a number of players who are obviously not so solidly on board with lynching me (because if they were on board, they'd be doing it), and if you don't push my lynch, you're not going to very much effort to get them on board despite both of us being here and me offering you an opportunity to solidify your case. That tells me that you don't really have much of an eye for convincing the rest of the town to lynch scum.
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
I think if you flip town bozo has no case on either Sarah or Fox. You could not have been bussing Fox and Sarah could not have been noobishly sheeping a teammate.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:43 pmThe fact that I'm moderately impressed with your gameplay despite following the wrong path leads me to one of two conclusions: either you're getting better at this game and will probably be critical in solving it, or you're scum and have put a significant amount of effort into getting me lynched. Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
If brainbomb is scum, I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie was his teammate. Their back and forth seemed like theatrics that died way too easily without either of them getting anything, and they didn't go into it seeking anything other than a fight. I imagine there is at least one scum player lurking, so in the event that I'm right about those two I would suspect a low poster that neither of them have gone out of their way to connect themselves to to this point.
I firmly acknowledge the propensity for reads to be completely wrong on day 1, which is why I don't really go out of my way to make any. That sequence was noteworthy, though.

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
I certainly won't be trying to lynch SK24 if you flip town, and probably not Foxcastle, although I find his reaction to my vote suspicious independent of your alignment.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:43 pmThe fact that I'm moderately impressed with your gameplay despite following the wrong path leads me to one of two conclusions: either you're getting better at this game and will probably be critical in solving it, or you're scum and have put a significant amount of effort into getting me lynched. Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
You're right. I was hoping for him to get there, which would lead into the pitifully obvious question of why he was voting for Fox when he was way ahead instead of trying to leverage his masterful case into a counterwagon on me. It's strange to see him as confident in himself as he either is or is trying to appear but not wanting to lead a wagon.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:51 pmI think if you flip town bozo has no case on either Sarah or Fox. Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
The only question I have to you is why you feel the need to involve the GM on your bluff, reaction test or whatever? And twice, first on your message asking for a sub and after that sending him a private message. I feel this completely off for you and hard to justify as town.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:38 pmAdditionally, do you plan on asking me any questions? I've been waiting patiently. Okay, cool. Then I ask you what I just told xorxes I would ask you. Why were you bandwagoning on Fox instead of counterwagoning on me, since your read on them relies on your bad read on me?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:53 pmI certainly won't be trying to lynch SK24 if you flip town, and probably not Foxcastle, although I find his reaction to my vote suspicious independent of your alignment.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:43 pmThe fact that I'm moderately impressed with your gameplay despite following the wrong path leads me to one of two conclusions: either you're getting better at this game and will probably be critical in solving it, or you're scum and have put a significant amount of effort into getting me lynched. Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
I don't think it was theatrics, it looked pretty normal. I think they already know by now that they have no chance of convincing anyone about the other and even they are probably not that convinced that the other is scum, but they just can't help themselves. And nobody will give them towncredit for that, or even assume that they are not teammates, so I doubt they would bother with putting on a show.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:52 pmIf brainbomb is scum, I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie was his teammate. Of the two, if I was forced to say one is scum I would go with brain, but I'm not at all sure that he is.

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
The only player that can be characterized as low poster today is me. Do you think I am scum with Brain and Jamiet?bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:52 pmIf brainbomb is scum, I wouldn't be surprised if Jamie was his teammate. Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
I am not sure you are scum, but I think I have sufficiently expressed why I suspect you might be. If you are scum, I am confident you would be able to fabricate acceptable answers to any questions I ask. My first experience with you as scum was M34 when we were scum together, and from that game I know how much effort you are willing to put in to deflect suspicion as scum.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:48 pmAnd that's the problem. Also, I think you have misrepresented my reasons for suspecting you. They are:
1. your increased D1 participation
2. SK24 following your vote 3 minutes later
3. your reaction to suspicion because of SK24's vote
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
If you are, you're playing the role well. I don't have any solid read on you. I think damo, kgray, bozo, Sarah, and emc (and if you want to include me feel free) also fall into that pool, wherein the number of things they've posted is not representative of the substance of their posts. The more critical component of that read is the lack of blatant connections, and to tell you who fits into that camp I would have to go back and reread quite a bit.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:59 pmThe only player that can be characterized as low poster today is me. I can't control what other people do, so Sarah's vote is out of my hands. I already told you that I'm town and I'm asking you to answer my questions carrying that assumption because you are not currently accounting for that possibility in anything you're doing. Stop beating around the bush.
