Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
Okay, you think bozo's questioning of Sarah is forced. I could see that, but she also wasn't being very forthcoming with her answers. Do you not think it's possible that bozo was excited to have found something scummy, and was trying to figure out if it is actually indicative of Sarah being scum? I also did not find where bozo said bo needs to be flipped to confirm Sarah's alignment. Will you please point that post out for me?worcej wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 4:45 pmIn order:
- Yes, the lack of a dumb survey is abnormal from bozo. Additionally, his focus on a new player is not normal to me - 19 of his 54 posts are directed at her by my count. I'd expect more of this from an established player because he could get someone to crack, but it just seems too contrived/forced. To then transition it to saying Bo needs to be flipped to confirm her is a weird stretch. As you may know, I hate the team pairs logic, especially this early in the game, and it is weak reasoning to push a lynch.
- I think bozo is voting with little reason and is being opportunistic, which strikes me as being easy to do as scum. Scum don't want to stick their ass out so that it gets burned - they are cautious.
I guess my question about bozo voting Fox was more along the lines of: why would scum-bozo build up a case against bo but then vote for Fox? If scum-bozo is trying to be cautious and not stick his neck out, wouldn't it make more sense for him to vote the person who he claims he more strongly scumreads? It was still very early in the day for him to vote for Fox assuming it would remain the largest wagon and he could hide there.
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
Brain's usage of copy/paste makes me raise an eyebrow as iirc it is a habit he does more as scum than town, but considering it is of use this time especially with noob player, hmm

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
That's interesting.
Why do you think that? Because scum Bozo is good at being town read early on? Because Bozo is just hard to read?

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
I thought bo_sox might be scum, and if he is, he might have been bussing you, so I thought there is a chance you are scum, but at a lower chance than bo_sox. Voting you to make a bigger wagon had a better chance of causing discussion than putting one vote on bo_sox.
Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
Since he is rather good at disappearing into background/emulating his usual seemingly analytical inquiry. However he has been consistently on/after the same group of people since his first post I think - is this sorta-tunneling usual behavior? Don't quite remember without going back on bot

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
Thanks, you covered the 2 things I was going to say about this post. One, that I never said bo_sox needs to be flipped to resolve SK24's alignment. Two, that I think characterizing my vote for Foxcastle to make him the lead wagon as cautious is inaccurate.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:30 pmOkay, you think bozo's questioning of Sarah is forced. BunnyGo has words put in his mouth for asking a question to make a dig at kgray.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:16 pmApparently BunnyGo does not know what "tunnelling" means, and apparently Brainbomb is voting BunnyGo but does not scunread him.

That sentence is, I wager, unique.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:54 pmBunnyGo has words put in his mouth for asking a question to make a dig at kgray.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:16 pmApparently BunnyGo does not know what "tunnelling" means, and apparently Brainbomb is voting BunnyGo but does not scunread him.

I agree that it is quite unique.....damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:57 pmThat sentence is, I wager, unique.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:54 pmBunnyGo has words put in his mouth for asking a question to make a dig at kgray.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 6:16 pmApparently BunnyGo does not know what "tunnelling" means, and apparently Brainbomb is voting BunnyGo but does not scunread him.

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
You cannot qualify uniqueness. It either is or isn't. A bit like being scum. you either are or you are not.

Very little to not at all.worcej wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 3:46 pmI phrased my question poorly - how much does the 3 minute time difference between bo and Sarah's vote influence your vote?

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
One possibility I see is that bo_sox and Foxcastle are scum and SK24 is town who drove them both to overreactions because of the coincidental timing of her vote.
Another possibility is that bo_sox, Foxcastle, and SK24 are all town. In this case, BunnyGo is probably scum, taking the opportunity to correctly declare bo_sox and Foxcastle are town. Or, it could be worcej, who has essentially done the same thing, although it is unlikely to be both. The other scum would probably be taking the the opportunity to vote for bo_sox or Foxcastle, such as Jamie, brainbomb, xorxes, and rdrivera.
Or, bo_sox and SK24 could be scum, with or without Foxcastle.

Re: M1010 Mini-Mafia
Sometimes people do qualify scum: "non-PZ scum" for instance.
You can also qualify uniqueness in the sense that something can be unique in more or less relevant properties. So something unique in a more relevant property can be said to be more unique than something unique in something less relevant.
The sentence in question, for example has already appeared three times in this thread, which someone might argue makes it no longer quite unique, but in another sense it is still unique enough.

What's the point of this? The joke phase ended a while ago.xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 7:19 pmSometimes people do qualify scum: "non-PZ scum" for instance.
