No worries, we were all new once. Here’s the general set up:

About 10 of us are “Town”. We’re a team, but don’t know who each other are. But there are lots of us. We get to kill someone every day, and try to learn who else is on our team. And kill the other team.

The other 3 are “Scum”. They are a team. They KNOW who is on each team. In addition, they get to participate in town’s voting to kill someone. In addition they get to talk to each other in secret every “night phase”. In addition they get to kill someone every night phase.

There are some powers, and skills (like a doctor can save someone). But that’s the main thrust.

So right now, we’re looking for people who know too much. Or we’re looking to help our town teammates identify us as on their team. This is why explaining thoughts makes sense.

Also, Fox can’t really “plan” anything. All scum can do is hide. And sew confusion.

Okay maybe it's my ego getting in the way but it seems pretty unlikely that Fox would make this mistake after last game. But.... I can't think of any reason for scum-Fox to do this intentionally.
