For example the 164-1 odds I quoted are based on the assumption that Xorxes is town and the knowledge that I am town.
That worked well for you last time, didn't it?
Irrelevant.

Trying to figure out what Bungo is doing with all these questions lol

Are you doing this for benefit of new players? or
And for the record, I'm not a "new" player, but I am a bad player looking to learn.
I noticed last game that you tried to sell yourself as a newbie. And now you're trying to sell yourself as unskilled? Is there a reason you're lowering expectations?

I think Bunny is town.
Everyone always does.
I'm pretty sure I read you as scum in every game except for the last one.

You sound so mature this time though, I haven't seen this side of you before.
Do you think it's more likely he came off a scum win and is feeling lighter because he doesn't have to pretend and can take a different approach, or do you think he's deploying a new persona having rolled scum again?

Yeah, you have. But in at least one of those games you were 3P and I helped nail you.

I am a trained research mathematician; there's got to be some amount of maturity.
Do you have a specific area of research, Bunny?

Well, someone's got to break the ice, and it might as well be me. I mean, I'm used to being a hostess; it's part of my husband's work, and it's always difficult when a group of new friends meet together for the first time to get acquainted, so I'm perfectly prepared to start the ball rolling. I mean, I have absolutely no idea what we're doing here, or what I'm doing here, or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself and I'm very intrigued and oh, my, this soup's delicious isn't it?

It saddens me that none of you seem to have seen the glorious classic Clue starring Tim Curry.

IN THE EVENT THE VENGEFUL DIES

Are you willing to be his kill today
My answer is yes

please answer this question all
No. Vengeful should kill me later in game when I'll likely be a mild scumread for a larger portion of game.

Also, my recommendation is that Vengeful should remove a lurker/low poster from game.

Honesty. I’m a very harsh self-critic. I’ve been training with swordsman and that hasn’t made me feel better about my abilities either.

I want to say the scumteam is Bunny-kgray-brain, but half the players have not posted yet, so I'll refrain.
I estimate the odds against this being correct is 164-1.

Actually it's a calculation based on an assumption rather than an estimate.

If I add another assumption it's 119-1.

Another refuses it to 35-1.

Any yet another as low as 6-1.
In the lead up/early stages of WWII, the UK was still heavily dependent on food imports and wanted to know whether they could grow enough food from local gardens to feed people. They did a study to see how much individuals and communities could grow in little plots and all that, but at the end of the study, they determined that the project was not feasible. The problem, though, was not a lack of food under the plan—they actually could grow enough to feed people—it was that the shift to a much-higher fiber diet would overwhelm local sewage systems.

Anyway, my point is that Damo's post here is full of shit.

Depends on the problem. My default thinking process is Bayesian. But often base assumptions suck, or actually computing with things is near impossible with Bayes. Also some problems nearly demand frequentist analysis, it just works better.

The question itself is pretty useless as it is unlikely to be answered by most.
The posing of the question is scummy as it smacks of PR hunting.
