No ceiling here; the pure high air is sweet,
A dreaming bird in a dark blue midnight sky,
No ceiling here; the pure high air is sweet,
Glide silently through clouds without a sigh,
Bright feathers grow, your fledgling wings spread fast,
The life before you is your paradise,
Vanish in rising wind, all sorrows past,
To never land's worth any sacrifice,
Nobody sees the shining heart within,
To distant mountain heights you cannot gauge,
Now leave behind a life that's closing in,
Fly far from death in evil wars they wage,
Oh peterbot you sparkle diamond bright,
On swift storm winds soar jubilant in flight.
A dreaming bird in a dark blue midnight sky,
No ceiling here; the pure high air is sweet,
Glide silently through clouds without a sigh,
Bright feathers grow, your fledgling wings spread fast,

Through winter chill or searing summer heat,
Another summer night you'll someday fly,
A voice that cries and wings that fiercely beat,
Glide silently through clouds without a sigh,
Better to flee your home than be outcast,
You soar above red sand and blue-white ice,
Your life is small; the endless sky is vast,
Take a flaming chance and roll the dice,
Now leave behind a life that's closing in,
Open the book of shadows; turn the page,
All that you want and need is named a sin,
Angry, she said, vote bo! rattle that cage,
Fly free of summer's burn and winter's bite,
Fly high and don't surrender in your fight.

Re: Mini Mafia II: Shakespeare Mash Game Thread
Why?
Was it serious when you made the vote? Or only after he voted you back?
Re: Mini Mafia II: Shakespeare Mash Game Thread
IIRC he voted me because I never vote so recklessly, and in response I voted him.
Re: Mini Mafia II: Shakespeare Mash Game Thread
Ceasar has another public decree, for the amusement and great relief of the masses. As your Emperor, I decree that at the end of this squabble we require a local King on the throne of yon rock.
Whether this king be of olde traditional stock, or a new cuck fresh from the egg, whether he be a rebel or a royal tenenbaum......in the end it matters not to your IMPERATOR, as long as he has my approval.
Victory for Ceasar can come in many forms, whether it be through annihilating all the rabble, or through making an accurate judgement of whom will sit on the throne when all is said and done.
I have deliberated with the oracle, and even though CEASAR felt it very unwise not to simply take the throne for his infinitely wise self, but the oracle spied in her dove bones the need for a lesser being to sit on yon throne. I shall thus heed the oracle's premonition, and oversee the proceedings with great interest.
*SCRIBE, come over here and translate my decree into language that the tiny brain of these plebeians might find coherent*

Greetings, fellow subjects of the mighty Ceasar.
The mighty IMPERATOR has instructed me to make understandable all his fine words, so that thee might understand the message that Ceasar in his infinite wisdom is trying to convey. So as the imperial royal scribe, I hereby state the following:
POINT ONE: Ceasar has an alternative victory condition. Either he can win with this construct you "fine gentlemen and ladies" would call the town by eliminating all the barbarian scum, OR he can win by correctly guessing before the 4th moon which king will be on the throne at the end of these proceedings.
POINT TWO: For his alternative win condition, Ceasar would ofcourse need to be alive. Even though we have full confidence in his praetorian guard to intercept any malcontents wishing Ceasar harm, we would simply prefer to root out any treachery against his royal excellency. In other words: Barbarian scum, do not attempt to murder Ceasar, it will do you no good, for if thee can prove to be of excellent royal stock, Ceasar will recognize such, and might even support your claim to the throne!
POINT THREE: Loyal subjects of Ceasar, do not be afraid that Ceasar will simply sell you out to the barbarian hordes. Ceasar has fought many battles against barbarian hordes, and has always come out victorious. He does however believe, that the right to kinghood should be awarded to the most capable person, and thus shall try to keep his interference to a minimum, to keep the coming struggle balanced and just. May the best king win! Good luck in your struggle to find and eliminate the barbarian hordes.
POINT FOUR: Ceasar has heard all the squabbling about roleclaims and such. Ceasar has no desire to interrupt the proceedings with useless prodding into people their agendas. Ceasar has an excellent spy network that he shall put to use to deduce for himself who shall be a worthy person to sit on yon throne.
CEASAR WILLS IT

Useless scribe, you forgot to instruct the plebeians that they can still petition wise Ceasar for advise on how to proceed.
