I have a tentative town read on EMC and a moderate scum read on Bob. But the voters on Bob are generally my other scum reads (xorx, worcej, Fox) - though worcej may be right that I mislabeled him on Day 2 w/r/t end voting.

I'm generally null-ish on the EMC voters.

Drunk bunny said not to vote Flum...I'm agitated because I'm trying to figure out what to do. I don't like Chaqa, but I never do, and I don't think he's ever been scum. I'm happy EMC is back, and he's trying, but maybe too hard. I kinda liked Bob's posts when he finally showed up, and I want to give a student a chance, but his wagon is very towny.

An "anchor post" is where someone, who is trying to lurk, posts something with absolutely no content in an attempt to continue lurking for a bit longer without getting pressured for it.

Something like:

"Oh wow sorry guys my train was delayed, I'm here now and doing my best to catch up. I need to read up from about 9 pages back and I also need to take a look into Bo_Sox. I'll try to do that before EoD"

(And then disappear again).

There was a guy called y2kjbk who played Mafia here for quite a while and did this kind of thing a lot.

It appears Pjandy will not be coming back and will get mod killed, which will solve that lurker problem.

It is good to see emc start posting. However, reading his posts he seems to suddenly have a lot of strong scum reads. It makes me wonder if he is overcompensating for his lack of content, trying to come across as town by having strong opinions.

Nah, Jamie was just so pissy last time about all my thoughts being too weak and therefore not posts at all, so I just upgraded all my adjectives to be stronger.

If you want just paste in "vaguely/somewhat/kinda/-ish" in front of all my reads and they will appear normal.

Why would you be more likely to respond to Jamie's criticism as town than as scum? You have never seemed to let criticism about your late voting change your voting pattern.
