What do you see in those posts that makes you pretty sure you're looking at a VT?

It is good to see emc start posting. However, reading his posts he seems to suddenly have a lot of strong scum reads. It makes me wonder if he is overcompensating for his lack of content, trying to come across as town by having strong opinions.

I am glad that pinging for your attention worked. With the flow means that no-one's really talking about you, and you aren't like a rock splitting the conversation in two. i.e. brain is usually not with the flow as he is a fucking mossy rock and if you jump on him you'll slip and drown in a handspan of water. Hella way to die.

Towny:
Jamie - my most consistent town read. I feel like he's looking for clues and isn't afraid to call people out on things.
damo - a lot of this read is based on what happened around night 1, where I thought he was open and towny. I didn't notice anything since then to change my mind, but given some things that people (Jamie?) brought up, I'm going to reread damo.
bozo - I follow a lot of his reasoning and feel like we're looking at the game from the same perspective.

Town-ish:
worcej - I don't think I'll ever understand worcej's logic regarding the day 1 lynch or how he was so sure that Tem was town, but the way he defended it makes me think he truly believes what he's saying. And in general, I think he's aggressive in a way that doesn't seem like he's trying to avoid suspicion.
xorxes - makes a lot of good points, and I end up agreeing with much of what he says.
Flum - jokes around more than I'd expect scum to, and I think also has made insightful comments. Out of the Vecna end-voters, I found his progression to seem the most natural.
Rdrivera - I haven't really seen any red flags from rdr. I think his reaction to Vecna's lynch seemed genuine.
Balki - starts a lot of conversations. Sometimes I think I understand where he's going with it, sometimes it does kind of seem like noise. I haven't come up with a convincing scum-motivation for what he's doing and overall I think he's trying to figure out alignments.

Scum-ish:
pjandy - not much to go on, but when he did participate he spent a lot of time on joking around and added almost nothing game-related. Seems like he's hiding on purpose.
BunnyGo - There are a few things that ping me about Bunny. He's been pretty friendly towards me - could be just welcoming a new player, but could be trying to get me on his good side. He has some reads that I don't really understand, and I'm still working out if that's just a difference of opinion or if he's got some motivation behind it. More recently, I didn't get his Drunk Bunny (TM) thing at all. He mentioned a few interesting topics (damo protecting/bussing chaqa, xorxes not pushing) but mostly he excused his scumread on Flum without reasons and had a weird interaction with Balki that went nowhere. This read is just a lot of gut suspicion, I guess.
Foxcastle - He did seem towny day one. Then, I didn't like how he labeled Balki his top townread, because I don't see how anyone could think that. I agree in general that Balki seems towny but simultaneously I think that scum-Balki could fake that. But the way Fox worded it set off alarm bells. Bunny could be right that Balki/Fox are scum together. Balki's push on Fox seemed lazier than his pushes on Bunny and worcej. And Fox's weird post about the scum team being made up of one experienced player who's the killer and 2 lurkers did not sit right with me.
bobmcbob - even after bob started posting, he's not saying much. I don't like how he came in and instantly decided the Vecna vote was a bad vote without even reading. And even though I agree that Chaqa came out of that vote looking bad, it looks to me like bob just jumped at an easy target.

So comments on Bob McSulit:

1. Had townreads on both Brainbomb and Bo_Sox (see 3 below).

2. Listed EMC as a townread in Bozo's survey but at no other point mentioned EMC at all. This is odd.

3. Interacted with BunnyGo quite a bit, though didn't get the "Jojo" reference, and appeared antagonistic towards Bunny as if trying to get a reaction. Her only stated reason for townreading Bo_Sox was that he swore at BunnyGo.

4. Scumread Pjandy which was her only clear scumread. Also had an apparent scumlean on kgray for a reason that is not clear.

5. Bob McBob's first and fourth posts are anchor posts, and the other two aren't much better.


Verdict:

- I now believe this slot is SCUM.

- The unexplained townread on EMC is suspicious and it is possible that EMC and Bob/Sulit are scum together, because if she knew Bo, Brain and I were all town, you might want to put one scum on your town list, both to potentially protect them and to avoid having suspiciously accurate early reads.

- It is also possible that the interaction with BunnyGo was scum/scum theatre.
