I already answered all of that. I first voted him to pressure him to start playing. Same with the hammer vote, there were enough people voting end (yourself included) that it made the pressure more relevant. After he showed up and started to at least engage a bit I moved my vote to bo_sox because Vecna was in the lead. I made the wagons 4-4 with my move, which I thought was better than 5-3. Both of them were not playing so applying pressure to both equally was the best move. Then Vecna gave up and hammered himself and I took it as him trying to manipulate us with emotion as a last resort to save himself. At that point I thought he was scum.

Observations:

1. For some reason in the early game EMC is absolutely obsessed with gauging exactly how salty Balki is going to be in this game. This is just really weird. It's as if he has a major crush on Balki.

2. At EoD 1 he parked his vote on Fluminator and left it there. Nobody else was voting for Fluminator and the lead wagon was Temasek. EMC said more than once that he didn't scumread Temasek, but took no action to move his vote while calmly watching Temasek getting lynched and casually making jokey remarks to Flum and Balki.

3. In his first few games here, as town, EMC seemed keen to get into the game and was quite active and generally seemed relatively intelligent. He is a natural coward, and in his early games had a desperate fear of being shouted at for being involved in a mislynch. Such was his fear that he always left it until the last second to vote, so much so that multiple people threatened to make him a policy lynch unless he grew a pair.

In the last game, I observed how he had become somewhat less active and, when he did post, 90% of his posts were irrelevant chatter that did little or nothing to contribute to the game. As a result of this I correctly scumread him and we lynched his scrawny yellow ass.

I am seeing the exact same EMC here.

He is scum.

So would you be willing to entertain lynching him today?

2. Scum wanting the kill to minimize information

It’s curios that none of the usual suspects were killed the first two nights. Xorxes, Balki especially.

Not that I disagree, but I've had a question about this meta of the webdip mafia game: Since "everyone" knows that strong players are NKed early, doesn't mafia have an incentive to not NK them and let town mislynch them instead?

That said, if one of them is scum, my gut says it's Xorxes more than Balki. But I don't particularly scum read either of them.

What's confusing? If he scumreads both or wants to pressure both, it's perfectly fine to vote for one and encourage others to vote for the other. He could be bussing either one of them, but that post is not an indication of that.
