M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy

Here are the players I have had the most reason to suspect so far. It is heavy on the lurkers, because they are hard to read:

BunnyGo: Calling out Balki early D1 for a town slip with knowledge I would only expect scum to be sure about.

worcej: Strong defense of Temasek D1 because he felt Temasek was capable of poor play, but it is still not clear to me why he was so sure it was not poor scum play.

bo_sox: Shows up and starts posting after D2 ends early when it is apparent he is next up in lynch-a-lurker.

emc: Has posted almost no meaningful game content, which I have never seen from him.

sulit/Bob: Little contribution, Bob criticizing the Vecna lynch seemed odd considering he claimed to have not been caught up.

Pjandy: Has not mentioned any other player in his 8 posts, has not placed any votes, and he now disappeared.

I'm sorry I don't have much in the way of reads. I haven't really had time to re-read and develop full thoughts, so let me just try to do a quick roster run and post my mindset about them. This is without much specific re-read work, so don't take it as gospel.

1. Worcej - lean town. I don't like his certainty about what's his name, day 1, but I like his righteous indignation.
4. Emc - scum. Not much to go on here, but he was pretty friendly to me Day 1, and then disappeared. I'm not confident about this.
5. Jamiet99uk - town. I find that scum rarely go after me very hard. Jamiet has gone after me without fear.
6. Chaqa - Eh, I wish he wouldn't play like this. Did he say I was scum? Yeah, he did. He guaranteed it. Yeah, Chaqa is likely town.
7. xorxes - I'd wait a day, and if he is not NKed tonight or tomorrow, serious scrutiny. Hasn't done much solving in my view. But...in his defense, nobody is playing so it's hard.
9. Foxcastle - Has not stood out to me. I feel like he has not stuck his neck out. Could be scum.
10. damo666 - ya know, I've understood and appreciated many of the things he has said, but a lot of times that means scum. I'm not sure how I feel about Damo.
12. rdrivera2005 - Maybe scum? I have the impression he is playing a pleasing, non confrontational game, which indicates scum, but I have not gone back to re-read and verify.
13. bozo - Kind of made the same impression on me as Damo has. I understand a lot of what he says, which might mean he's scum. I feel like he's stayed far away from me all game.
14. BunnyGo - Not sure, but I lean town. Playing pretty well. I liked his response to me Day 1. Wasn't just trying to please me.
15. sulit - needs a sub.
16. Bo - Lean scum. The way he sort of indirectly shaded me without much explanation and wihtout confronting me seemed like the kind of way scum might come after me, avoiding the conflict. But...also lazy, so hard to know.
17. Flum - hard to say. Good player either way.
18. kgray - I hope she's town, but no guaranty. Playing fairly friendly towards me, which I view with skepticism, but making a lot of sense.
19. pjandy - needs a sub.

Janet struggled to help Marco into a boat she rented from the local port authority.
"Just hang on Marco. I'll get us to Ontario. We can take this boat to Bayfield. There's a vaccination center there, people have a cure. I won't let you die on me Marco. "
Marco tried to speak but his lungs were failing him. Sepsis had begun to set in.

Janet remembered the gales of Lake Huron were dangerous for small watercraft. She cranked the motor and sped off out into the great freshwater sea.
Janet held Marco's hand and clutched her other hand upon the motor steering rod carefully avoiding choppy areas so Marco would be comfortable.
She zipped past anchored Oil tankers, rocky outcroppings, and curious seagulls. One seagull hovered casually nearby, its feathers a unique silver and ivory.
Marco looked up at the seagull in the fading sunset and smiled. "It's beautiful…" he choked. And with a whiff the seagull was gone, flying high above the tops of the monolith oil tankers and coast guard ships.
As darkness fell on lake huron, cold air crept in, and Marco succumbed to it. For a moment Karen felt a different chill on her neck. The cold sensation of a presence of evil, as if three ghostly apparitions stood over Marco's body laughing.

He didn't try to fly under the radar with the Vecna vote. He may have seen it as an opportunity, but it was sticking his neck out a little bit as well.
