Unfortunately there's no such thing as a d18.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:22 pmisn't that 18?Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 1:51 pmI rolled a d20 and it came up Bozo.Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 5:08 am##Vote Chaqa
He's not going to lurk his way out of answering my question.
He didn't want Tem as the only wagon so he naked voted Bozo as an alternative he wanted. When I asked why he ignored and lurked.
Now he's forgetting Bozo existed.
I know his strategy is lurk to avoid accountability, but I will not let him.
As I said, Day 1 my main philosophy is anyone but me

You're overthinking this.

I do really have to point out the irony of this. Chaqa, are you playing stupid?Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:18 pmI'm not suggesting that lynching lurkers is a bad idea. I'm saying end voting is.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:11 pmIt is also insane that we play game after game where scum lurk and get away with it. A lot of people are guilty of it (including me and you in previous games, and I can even recalling both of us saying that we were going to lurk to coast through). And unless we create disincentives for it, scum will keep doing it because it works.
That's how you lynch a town PR (not that we have many of those left anyway...)

Worcej was one of the few people I felt good about on Day 1. I would rank him town and I think his analysis is spot on.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:29 pmEverybody thinks lynching lurkers is a fine idea, but it never happens, ever. So that's a useless sentiment.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:18 pmI'm not suggesting that lynching lurkers is a bad idea. I'm saying end voting is.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:11 pm

What do you think of Worcej's analysis that in recent games, the lurker pool has been at least 50% scum?
Lurkers being where scum hide is nothing new. Part of the reason I historically played as a lurker was so I would be seen as too scummy to night-kill, since I'm really not much use to town until the midgame.
Though nowadays it's more that I'm busy. This game is rough because I work during the day.

I got lucky and rolled someone I would vote for, though.
Do I need to take a picture of me holding the die I use? lol

Probably not, since the whole point was to see if anyone would jump on another also-ran wagon. Maybe brain.Fluminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:45 pmYesterday, before they died, with the dice roll

Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
If there is going to be a hammer, can we at least lynch Vecna?
Bo as scum isn't usually a lurker, if I recall. Vecna is deliberately being different so he doesn't die, it would be funny if he, you know, did.

Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
The mathematician in me wants to point out that you should google “persi diacconis fair die” and watch the numberphile videos. There are more fair dice than the standard DnD Archimedean solids.
Sorry for distracting, let’s get back to the game.

Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
Well, then it would be tied and someone could come in and hammer the day.
Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
You use a real die and not an online “roller”? You SCUM!Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:46 pmI got lucky and rolled someone I would vote for, though.

Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
If someone does that, we know they're scum, right?Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:57 pmWell, then it would be tied and someone could come in and hammer the day.
Re: M54: Not a Carrot Conspiracy
That would be very scummy. Also, I put in a GM call about how he’s doing hammer counting.Chaqa wrote: ↑Fri Mar 20, 2020 2:57 pmWell, then it would be tied and someone could come in and hammer the day.
