I'm open to this if you can demonstrate that it's common in prior games, and in particular if you can demonstrate scum-EMC and scum-Flum bussing.

That's too much hard work! Anyway EMC is usually either 3p or puts in a useless late vote. I can't remember either of them as scum tbf.

EMC was scum in the last game, and I caught him, on the first day. I believe that is the only game where he has been on the main Mafia team. (I think he was also Third Party in at least one game, but that's not useful for this analysis as the Third Party doesn't know who is on the Mafia team either).

In that game, on D1, the only day he was alive, EMC voted for BunnyGo (and no-one else, he didn't move his vote), and BunnyGo was a Vanilla Town.

So the one time EMC ever cast a vote as Mafia, he didn't bus. But that's a very limited amount of information to determine whether he ever *would* bus.

emc was scum in the game where teacon and I tunneled each other like mad, I don't remember what number it was.

It is also insane that we play game after game where scum lurk and get away with it. A lot of people are guilty of it (including me and you in previous games, and I can even recalling both of us saying that we were going to lurk to coast through). And unless we create disincentives for it, scum will keep doing it because it works.

The main character is a cop, it literally says he's a cop in the first paragraph of the wikipedia entry. Considering some of the other convoluted/abstruse crumbs people have tried, it seems pretty straight forward.

Also, it's so obvious that I'm not sure that Brainbomb did it as a crumb as opposed to a pop culture reference.

I think its more likely he mentioned the movie because it's about fighting disease over him softing hes the cop character, but maybe not. I don't think anyone would kill him because of that though.
