Can you answer my earlier questions? Do you think Town!Tem was actually putting together a reaction test? Or do you think he was just frazzled and made that up, but is frazzled town rather than frazzled scum?

I think town!Tem is very capable of making a bad play like that thinking it would help. It is on par with his bad choices he has made in prior games and fits his meta, which is currently what I am going with over your implied opinions because it is D1.

It's bad because it can be easily seen as a scum defending themselves. Reaction testing is 100% normal play - anytime someone puts pressure on someone they are reaction testing.

I think he decided to do it early and stuck the narrative. His decisions fit the narrative he spelled out.

I will say in Worcej's defense that he has done that kind of "emotional manipulation" (or what I perceived to be manipulation) as town in prior games. I don't know if it's also something he does as scum.
