Or asking us to provide a randomizing factor for assigning roles. Or even if there was a problem in earlier rounds where people didn’t confirm and then didn’t show up.

Fair fair, It predates me playing so I don't know but I feel as though its just an acknowledgment of the game final balance/start etc.

Its probably a little arbitrary but why not
