I wont, which is why I won't base my vote off of it.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 2:11 amHow will you know if it is true?KalelChase wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:55 pmIf this is true then if Brain flips town I'll vote Bozo tomorrow.
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
Ah...This was to be part of the ballad, but I'll do it now as a teaser: usually Bozo has a plan. Like many men of a certain age with a "method" it isn't inherently bad. It just requires everyone in the world to buy into it, and if *anyone* doesn't go along, then it breaks horribly and it is THAT PERSON'S fault (not the method's fault).Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:33 pmBunnyGo, I think you've seen a couple of Bozo's early-game bright ideas, right? What do you think of his "draw 5" method for divining scum this game compared to prior plans he's come up with?
We see this with mass claims for example.
Now *this game's plan* was simpler. There was nothing it would gain. There was no stated method. No follow up. No arguing that we stop dragging our feet and join. I didn't even get dinged for "participating". The whole thing smelled like he was trying to have a scheme. Not actually doing his "Bozo Hunts" (TM).
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
lots of good stuff happening in the game thread tonight. thank you all for the effort

Good catch. @Fox gotta get the ## in front of the Vote to ##VOTE BOZO.KalelChase wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:31 amThis vote didn't seem to register.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:56 pmI'm going to vote ##BOZO.
I think BunnyGo is town, so I'll wait for him to answer my question before I elaborate more on my vote.
I think if Bozo is scum, Brain is town.
(And by "town", I mean more precisely, "not-scum" since I'm not even really sure how to hunt for the SK and assume we'll just get lucky?)
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
I'll give one:
MY EOD WAS CLEARLY THE WORST OUT THERE AND NOT ONE PERSON (besides me) HAS MENTIONED IT!!
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
I would second this: even though I'm going to make jokes (especially when I get to see the values if the spreadsheet) I think the value is helping you organize your thoughts and forcing you to focus. That's not how I do it, but it's better than not being able to pay attention.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:59 amI was semi-joking with the "speed dating" questions, so I didn't think it would actually turn into the lamest interactionKalelChase wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:29 amI'll default to other's memories, but I think this is my lamest proactive interaction game. I played my other games with a spreadsheet to track my weights, which gave me actual data to post from. But got a lot of flack for that so I've throw it out. So, playing completely on gut (probably not a great idea), and only piping in when I have something to add (only D2, but admittedly it hasn't been much).Foxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:38 pmKalel, I don't know why, but I cannot seem to notice you. Like, I have no idea of your play this game (though I seem to recall that you've made some biggish posts). Let's get to know each other.
For example, I'll tell you that I like comedy and I see a lot of movies and would recommend a variety of sci-fi/fantasy books.
And in return, you'd tell me your favorite foods and what you think of Vecna's voting pattern day 1.
Not sure how old you are, but based on your description check out an old silly movie called Ice Pirates, and one of my favorites of all time Caveman (with Ringo Star).
Favorite foods are a lot, but old me has had to cut back. To comply with your interaction I'll through out Sushi as I've traveled the Pac-rim extensively, and specifically spent a lot of time in Tokyo.
Now that you have me typing and opening up, I'll lead right into your game question. However, my style is less intelligent points calling out other's typos to 'get them', and mostly a list of stuff. You asked about votes so I'll stick to ISOing those 13 votes.
If I had my spreadsheet hopping votes around that much would actually be a fairly big scum weight. Let's look at them and see if they were justified...but I will definitely add Ice Pirates to my list and be jealous of your sushi adventures.
Also, don't let small minds harsh on the glory of the spreadsheet! If it helps you, use it.

That sounds heavenly...rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 1:11 amOk, it's Carnival here (we take this seriously, I only work now on Wednesday afternoon) and I had a few drinks (less then I would like, more then I should).damo666 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 1:01 amCalm down and read on.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 1:00 am
What the hell is this? You asked Brain to stop hurting town, but ending now hurt town even if BB is scum (something I am not that sure at this point).
Unfortunately I am not going to the beach this year, but I expect to have some caipirinhas by the pool tomorrow.
If you have any questions to drunk Rivera it's a good time...
hmmm...does drunk Rivera want to elaborate on what was discussed in scum chat last night?
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
I actually don't mind kits so much. It was 10 AM during work on the phone. And if it was busy, she could have trouble getting things right and keeping up with the hectic stuff.
I was trying to do it during dinner time with kids, that was hard enough, but I found some time to focus and let the wife take over kids.

The ballad of Bozo:
It begins:
This:
are the only "pushes" Bozo made to get Vecna to participate. I think even Bozo realized that asking people to provide random names from an RNG is useless. So why do it at all?
Then a bit of this for a while:
This is page 16, still shit posting? Joke voting? "Shaking stuff up"?
With about 5 hours to go he makes what seems to be a vote of interest:
This is now pedantry even for Bozo:
##VOTE BOZO
If he flips scum, it almost guarantees someone on the EMC wagon was bussing...
It begins:
bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 12:14 amI would like to try an experiment. I am asking everyone to please choose 5 players, besides themselves, at random. The results should be truly random, for instance I used an online random number generator. Here are the results of my random selection:
damo, foodcoats, Foxcastle, Kalel, rdrivera
This:
And This:

Wow...deep. Now, there is something to this. Back in WWII when people generated randomness for codes from BINGO machines, they would throw back data that didn't "feel" random.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:44 pmI would not call it logic, but if I was mafia and my random selection happened to include all three of my teammates, I think I would change it if for no other reason than so that my teammates did not think it was on purpose.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:38 pmThis seems like strange(?) logic as it comes from bozo, hmbozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:34 pmI doubt any mafia member would include their 3 teammates in their "random" selections, so that may be useful later looking for the last mafia.
perhaps it is my logic failing somewhere, but
Then a bit of this for a while:
Is it shitposting? No...I think this is honest communication. OK, vapidness doesn't necessarily mean scum.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:18 pmxorxes wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:12 pmI don't think he said he never gets lynched. Clever, I was about to vote for you for saying you never get lynched, then you preemptively scum read anyone who votes for you.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 10:46 pmLook, I can clearly tell when Ive done enough towntelling that ill never be in danger of getting lynched. Ive already reached that. Im never getting lynched this game.
So, I want to use my time and get as clear a picture of the gamestate as I can. That means observing people their own reasoning and analysis. People dont generally like to argue with me if I provide a solid case. Or they just say "your reasons are shit, because its all based on your dumb gut". That just aint useful to me. Especially when it concerns Xorxes.
OK, he said he was "never getting lynched this game". That is what made me want to vote for him.
This is page 16, still shit posting? Joke voting? "Shaking stuff up"?
Then a lot of posts I won't detail here arguing about the tally of the self-admitted useless survey.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:22 pmOK, you talked me into it.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:20 pmBecause we all know that proving someone wrong is -so much more- important than trying to actually find scum.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 11:18 pm
OK, he said he was "never getting lynched this game". That is what made me want to vote for him.
Also, ofcourse your vote would totally start that movement and show me and get me lynched. Thatll teach you, jerkface vecna
##VOTE Vecna
With about 5 hours to go he makes what seems to be a vote of interest:
But no reason. And honestly, I think there was a good case for any of those wagons but Jamie. I don't even really know why Jamie was on that list.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 6:52 pmOf the wagons with more than one vote, I would go with Bob over emc, BunnyGo, Jamie, and Kalel.

This is now pedantry even for Bozo:
An interesting post here, did anyone revisit this?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:37 pmThat is inconsistent with your statement that "everyone not on the top two wagons is town", since emc is not on the top two wagons.
Oh look, he IMMEDIATELY revisited this and tried to make it go away.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:51 pmYes, if emc is mafia.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:40 pmi meant all the people voting the other wagons.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 7:37 pm

Think about it. If EMC is scum here, thatd definately be how theyd play it. get early voting creds, jump off for whatever forms later, be ready to bus for real later.
classic webdip scum meta
Bozo has 3 posts all night. 3 Posts! Was he too busy in scum chat? Where'd he go? He immediately tried to nullify the bussing statement on EMC, but is back hard and fast Day 2 with this:bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 3:08 pmI do not think emc would bus BunnyGo at EOD. BobMcBob is probably town also.
I am not sure there were any bussers on emc, although I would not rule out Vecna.
I'll not post the rest, you can look, but it's distracting pedantic questions. None of his usually schemes and hunting. This is Distracto Bozo (TM) at his best.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 11:49 ambrainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 10:56 pminvalid voteKitsune wrote: ↑Wed Feb 19, 2020 10:55 pmBunnyGo
Running out of time. But having read through his ISO, I don't see any reasons for a vote here. My strongest townread from ISO actually. Do not lynch this Bunny.
Emc... I'm weakening on. I like his defense and I like his frustrated fury. I feel scumEMC tends to expect death and rolls with it with his usual lighthearted style.
I feel he's scummier than his rival lead wagons, but not scummy enough at this point to lynch.
I'm going back to:
#vote BozoThis entire sequence looks like brainbomb is trying to prevent emc from getting lynched, except obviously the vote for emc. Trying twice to get Kitsune to correct her invalid vote that would have moved a vote off of emc was an obvious move to prevent an emc lynch. Considering all of this, I do not see any town motivation for the vote on emc as soon as emc became the leading wagon. It looks like typical bussing, getting on the emc wagon in case it became a run away wagon.
Also, emc did not make any comments about brainbomb after he started posting.
##VOTE brainbomb
##VOTE BOZO
If he flips scum, it almost guarantees someone on the EMC wagon was bussing...
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
For the record, Vecna is my only townlean on the Brain wagon. Everyone else is null to scum.
Re: M53: Mafia 1 Redux
I mean, look at this:
Jamiet99uk
bozotheclown
Vecna
KalelChase
foodcoats
BobMcBob
I wouldn't want to be caught in that group. That group has at least 2 scum in it, maybe 3. That's everyone's who's who of scum lists except me, and Brain.
