How exactly you would vote someone for being quiet?

I am not feeling that BB is scum at the moment, so I should move. I think food is right that it is reasonable to assume that one or two of the lurkers is scum. Since I don't think I am scum (at least if I have read my role PM correctly) probably one of the other lurkers is.

Yet we usually seem to nail at least one scum within the first 24 hours.

The lack of a coherent wagon at any stage today makes me concerned as to who is controlling this game.

Bunny and Kit usually provide quite a bit of insight that has not come - but it is early.

RDR and Xorx seem to be subtly teaming/pocketing.

With all that said, if you're going to miss-lynch you might as well miss-lynch someone who's not helping the team so perhaps I wouldn't be the worst death as long as it taught town something about the other guys.

1) This is an interesting point. Do you think insights correlate with being towny?

2) Which do you think it is? Teaming or pocketing? If pocketing, who is pocketing whom?

3) How likely do you think it is we mislynch? Does taking out someone who is useless outweigh our attempts to actually catch scum?

1) I try and weigh sincere effort & signal (Insights) to noise (number of posts) ratio. So smart insights that help educate me on a rational thought process are town-lean to me. With that said 'sincere', what is signal/noise, and 'rational' are all Kalel-subjective... so I do my best to try and filter out my own baggage (like high volume posters are inherently anti-town... not meaning they're scum, but that they're not helping us... this is my bias, not necessarily true).

2) Hmmm.... Maybe I'm mixing my terms. I'm trying to label the idea that one puts forth an idea and the other either complements it or reinforces it.

3) On day 1, since I don't understand many people scum-hunting techniques, I think the chance we mislynch is 1 in 18. . To answer 3b... no if we think we can really catch scum on D1 we should do it, but it's certainly above my skills. I'll say that I don't hold much weight to 'metas'.. this is my 5th game and I've changed each time... maybe I'll stabilize eventually. Oh, and other than Bunny, Kit, Vecna and Jamie, no one else, whose not an overt @$$hole, really stands out for me.

Your scumreads change too fast for people to have time to oppose. From the last one I remember I don't agree with Kaka and Nepthys. Bozo and Gox are decent ones, didn't get towny vibes from them.
