That is what it sounds like you were saying in the original post, correct me if I am wrong.worcej wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:22 pmWhy do you put words in my mouth or make assumptions on what I said when I made a pretty clear indication in the original post what my thought process was?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:07 pmSo you suspect xorxes and I are scum because we said we were willing to lynch you, and you thought damo was scum because he was voting for you?

So you think I was worried a mafia with no votes would overtake the six wagons and get lynched?worcej wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:19 pmBecause maybe you wanted to ensure a town player was lynched no matter what?
Your questions are pretty meh so far bozo...

I did not even think it was much of a slip until you said it was intended to be a slip for a reaction test.worcej wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:21 pmI can ask questions too you know.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:06 pmWas it your intention to put information in 2 posts that had to be considered together to be a potential slip?
Don't you think it takes more effort to catch a slip over 2 posts instead of 1?

True. Mini mafia games are harder cause town don't have the time to gather much data before being in a pretty bad situation. Town have only 3 myslynches unless doc get a save and 1 was already used.xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:36 pmOK, that's not what he seemed to be saying, but I agree we need more active participation.goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 11:25 pmXorxes don't interpret that as me wanting to sheep. How I interpreted worcej's post is that he wanted people to become proactive and start pushing things - because he felt people were sitting around talking about nothing-burgers waiting for something to happen. I agree with the sentiment.
I can understand Worcej irritation (not necessarily agree) as I felt this way many times and still think he is town.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Again, it sounds like you think I was bussing Chaqa until I switch to Nephthys. I do not think the scum play there is to make a significant vote to lynch Nephthys, unless you think I was protecting someone else from getting lynched. If not Chaqa, then who?foodcoats wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:53 pmMy bad on the counts, though it still dropped your alleged preferred candidate out of the running.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 7:42 pmI tried for most of D1 to get votes for Chaqa and apparently was only able to convince damo to vote for him. (Maybe it is not a coincidence that damo is no longer here). I voted for Nephthys when I was leaving before EOD because it did not seem likely that Chaqa would be lynched, and I thought Nephthys was more likely to be scum than the other wagons. If I had been able to be online at EOD, I would have waited longer to change my vote, but unless others decided to vote for Chaqa, or a wagon on worcej materialized, I would have ended up voting for Nephthys.foodcoats wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 6:36 pm
Actually, I too think bozo looks unappetizing. bozo parked on Chaqa for ages and then swung onto Neph to push the wagon up ahead 4/2 with 30 minutes to go, providing this justification:
Not the greatest reason to stack off there. bozo also repeatedly hammered on Chaqa, even saying after voting for Neph that they really preferred to hang Chaqa or worcej, despite it being bozo who in leaving Chaqa dropped Chaqa down to a 1 vote wagon (the wagons were 3/2/2, then 4/2/1 with some other vanities because of bozo's switch), and pushed Neph up into true leadership position in doing so.
##VOTE bozotheclown
Also, your analysis contains an error, the wagons were 3/2/2/2/2/2, so after my vote change, the wagons were 4/2/2/2/2/1, not 4/2/1. I addressed all of the 2 vote wagons with this post:
Since you find my vote for Nephthys suspicious, can you tell me what potential scum motivation you see in changing my vote to Nephthys when I did? From what you said, the only thing I can conclude is that you think I might have been protecting Chaqa.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 9:34 pmI would lynch Chaqa or worcej, but Nephthys looks suspicious as well. My guess is that damo and Jamie are both town, as well as emc. I am not sure about Tom. I will probably be on the road at EOD, I will check in from mobile if possible.
The scum play there is shoring up a promising mislynch at an appropriate time.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Alright, I'm back in town, time to catch up, the whole weekend is here, time to start digging. Well first of all, well done damo, you died a hero, too bad our doc wasn't able to heal you. I would've loved if you had posted more, but nicely done.
Also these things here:
Anyway, for now, lets just accept it happened and take that information we got. "It was started on nothing" and "people piled on for nothing", have you done any further research on that or do you just want to emphasise you point?
... now, can you please answer my question?
So, I read up, though it was much and I think I need to go over it once or twice again, I feel like I missed something. Anyway, I see you've left me a treat, goldfinger (former Chaqa) 2 votes, bozo 2 votes, xorxes 1 vote ... how can I resist, this will give us much data: ##VOTE xorxes
Also these things here:
we got information from Nephthys, which we wouldn't had gotten if we didn't vote that way, voting on lurkers is fine. The mistake I made was not being back in time to respond to new information, shouldn't have trusted availability without checking it prior, maybe I should buy myself one of these smart phones after all.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 3:31 amSo basically Nepghtys wagon was started on nothing, and people piled on for nothing, this is why I told you NOT to vote for lurkers but no you decided that would be the best use of your vote
Nepthys barely talked, no one was defending him, this was the easiest wagon for people to fall into, and also the absolute and utter silliest
Anyway, for now, lets just accept it happened and take that information we got. "It was started on nothing" and "people piled on for nothing", have you done any further research on that or do you just want to emphasise you point?
@bozo I still want your answerKakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:15 pm[...]
There is one burning question there I want to get the answer to: bozo, how do you feel that Chaqa followed you voting on Nephthys? You were the one leading the Chaqa wagon (tied with Nephthys 3-3 for first place) and (given Nephthys changed the vote first away from Chaqa) changed to Nephthys, what are your thoughts on the matter?
[...]
right back at youFlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 3:34 amso basically you know nothing so you'll commit to nothing, cmon dude take a stand
welcome goldfinger, get well soon Chaqa. If you come around, please explain the vote on Nephthys on the first day, if you'd be so kind. (also congrats on post 666)goldfinger0303 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 2:20 pmGee, what a warm welcome to step into a game. Thank you everyone.
I've only skimmed EOD and the first ten pages, so I have a little bit of homework to do. On first read xorxes looks a bit off, but I really need to get a better sense of things before I commit to a vote. Unfortunately the re-read won't happen until after work, so unless someone gives me a SparkNotes version, I'll be a little OOTL for 8-12 hours.
xorxes looks a bit off
actually, we were twins got seperated at birth, though I was sent over the ocean he grew up in the US of A. I have no car (public transport rules), never watched the office (everyone tells me I finally should get to it) and it all started ON THE SAME PAGE with the flavour from e.m.c^42bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 8:37 pmMy research also shows that Chaqa and Kakarroto drive the same kind of car, both watch "Tho Office", and were roommates in college.

I don't know, I fail to see a motivation to do that as either town or scum, it's NAI. I find more likely town Woecej tried to do some kind of reaction test that didn't work that scum Worcej decide to get some heat doing thisbozotheclown wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 12:24 amDo you think worcej's reaction test claim is believable?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 12:09 amTrue. But I was talking about the feeling that people isn't listening to what he says, it happened with me really often and I used to get really angry until I just decided to play in a more relaxed way.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
This is so odd. Why are you faking posts? I don't see any reason you would do this on purpose, but what were you trying to do here?
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Is this sarcasm?
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
that was actually a joke part of my post, wanted to get in on the fun too and that way it sounded more funny, not posting [...] at the beginning. I guess wasn't too fun, no? Sorry, didn't want to hurt your feelings or manipulate, that's also why I write the page up there (though I do that at other posts too). It was in the name of fun.

scum!worcej obviously did not decide to get heat doing this. He made a mistake (acting as if he did not know that Jamie had voted for damo) because it was a way of writing some filler, then without realizing that it was incompatible with that he slipped that he had in fact looked at the bot before posting, then he got caught in the contradiction, and then he came up with the reaction test sstory. That's the scum!worcej version
The town!worcej version is that he came up with a very elaborate reaction test that required him to make two posts with some other filer posts in the midddle, and in which he somehow had to predict, when writing the first post, the type of thing he would need to respond to with the second post.
Which version sounds more likely?
If you don't want to bother analysing what happened, say so, but don't dismiss it when you don't even seem to be aware what the argument is all about.

No. He edited the quotes in a way that don't mean anything and I'm not sure what he meant to say by that.

OK. Since you voted for me in that post I thought that was somehow the reason. So why do you think I'm scum?
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
my feelings in my post last night are still here, but I'm fully aware scum would be utterly stupid leaving all votes on the leading wagon being town, especially 7-3 (I mean sure, when scum thinks that you think that they would never do that - but that thinking leads to nowhere). Yes, one part of it is making it 2-2-2, but I'm pretty sure not all 3 here are scum. I'm just not sure who is town and who isn't.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Do you have any thoughts on worcej, and the supposed reaction test? Do you think his story is believable?Kakarroto wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 1:47 ammy feelings in my post last night are still here, but I'm fully aware scum would be utterly stupid leaving all votes on the leading wagon being town, especially 7-3 (I mean sure, when scum thinks that you think that they would never do that - but that thinking leads to nowhere). This is what happened. He is catching up. He makes this post:
He already knew that Jamie had voted damo, but faked not knowing. He now admits that he already knew.worcej wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 6:23 pmDid you vote for damo then?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 1:49 am@Worcej:

I will happily vote the first person that claims.
Then he continues catching up:

And then he sees an opportunity to complete his supposed "reaction test":
Do you think that's what he was doing? Or did he just forget when posting that last one that he was not supposed to know what the votes were, and when he was caught he came up with the reaction test story?worcej wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 6:33 pmI had the same thought when I quickly checked the bot for votes.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 1:10 pmBoth Tom and Xorxes voting Jamiet and Food watching him. I thought that the mass claim was a joke but the emc question is useless unless Jamiet is questioning if emc should be posting flavor. Will wait for his answers.
Tom seems to be in typical form, xorxes is a little more laid back. NAI but at least observations.
