@worcej, were you here at EOD? I don't see any posts from you in the 2 hours prior.worcej wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:32 pmWhat's not true? Even with you as the 2nd highest wagon, the votes were 6-3-etc without your vote. The argument you tried to save yourself is terrible since you were not even that close of a wagon.

I didn’t like Nephs wagon. I thought he was town. But I was certain I was town. Makes the decision pretty easy. How is this difficult to comprehend. I will always 100% of the time vote a counter wagon to myself.worcej wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:32 pmWhat's not true? You didn't need to counter the wagon is my point. It was a shit EOD move and you won't convince me otherwise.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:45 pmI didn’t like Nephs wagon. Like, it would make more sense if people were pushing to lynch you in the last half hour, but they weren't really. People were all fine and dandy with Neph.

I want EOD with two competing wagons (didn't really happen) and I wasn't scumreading Nepth.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:15 pmSo you all jumped on Neph for a reason I'm not totally caught up with, and lynched a Town Vanillan.
For shame.
What's wrong?
I do think you and Xorxes could be scum together another time.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Things can switch pretty quickly. Two people move and I’m lynched. I want to make sure that doesn’t happen. This is standard. If I see someone who is the second leading wagon and they aren’t on the leading wagon they either weren’t around at EOD or are dumb

True, Tom's EOD were his towniest play until now.xorxes wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:19 pmTom's vote was not scummy at all. Everything he said before was scummy, but the vote was the natural thing to do if he was town in that situation.worcej wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:16 pmTom and bozo both look like shit for this EOD imo. They both barely, if at all, shaded Neph before voting him. Tom looks even worse for pounding the 'I don't like the lynch' but voted for it ultimately.
Damo and Chaqa at least planted the seeds of not liking his play early in the day. If they are scum, at least they stuck to a script.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
It was 5-3 I believe when I switched. If I don’t switch then one person flipping from Neph to me means it’s 4-4....
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
I'm sorry I couldn't be here sooner, work cut the access to free internet and blocked even on the lunch PC every homepage but a handful (which, sadly, webdip is not part of that). After I came home I read as fast as I could but came out too slow. Guess it's time to pick up the broken shards.
Looking at the votes, xorxes starting it, myself second at 10 hours, foodgoats voted around 9 hours ago, bozo went in as 4th 29 minutes before end. Then Chaqa at 8 mins, Tom and damo at 2 and 1 minute respectively.
xorxes started without a big reasoning, alright, it was 25 hours before EoD, fine, I guess.
mine came to make Nephthys participate more, (which started 1,5 hours before Eod) though I wasn't there.
food then voted 9 something hours before EoD including his reasons (was also thinking xorx might be scum, joined the wagon)
I don't like the Chaqa vote there, I really don't. It practically locked in a 5-3-3 situation, making it hard for votes to change close to EoD. Then again, it only looks bad when you do it intentionally, when you are aware of that situation and the consequences. Hrmph, still don't like it.
Tom and damo might've just tried to prevent a tie vote right before EoD, so yeah.
*reading reactions after my thought*
I'm more unwell with the Chaqa vote than Tom's here

that's not absolutely correct, it was 5-3-3, making his change 6-3-2, after that damo made it 7-2-2. If you look at the thread, tom mistyped 2 minutes before EoD and then he seemingly noticed his mistake, so his intent wasn't at 6-3 but 5-3worcej wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 10:32 pmWhat's not true? Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
It feels more like 'vote the biggest wagon to shut down any shenanigans', if it was to help either Tom or damo, who were both at 3 votes, I'm not too certain, maybe even both, who knows, Chaqa I guess. Doesn't change that I really dislike the timing and the reason he stated. If that answers your question.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Well, he had to vote for someone, he voted for who I suggested, his story about being ill could of course be all fiction, but it is plausible, so from my point of view I don't see much there.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2020 11:44 pmIt feels more like 'vote the biggest wagon to shut down any shenanigans', if it was to help either Tom or damo, who were both at 3 votes, I'm not too certain, maybe even both, who knows, Chaqa I guess. If neither damo nor Tom are scum, why would scum!Chaqa care who was voted? It seems to me that to find Chaqa's vote suspicious you need to have a case on Tom or damo before.
Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Maybe it's an illogical feeling I have there, flailing around because I was part of the hanging of a townie, trying to make some sense out of it. I don't know, maybe I listened to scum-xorx who asks me of my thoughts right now. Maybe I just need a good long sleep after todays work because I sound crazy right now.
Gosh I wish brainbomb was here right now.

Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
Hanging a townie D1 is what happens in most games, and trying to make sense of it is what can lead to catching scum. I'm trying to understand why you think Chaqa is the key element here.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:03 amMaybe it's an illogical feeling I have there, flailing around because I was part of the hanging of a townie, trying to make some sense out of it. Re: M1009 [HIDDEN]
I don't know why, maybe I'm wrong, but when I wrote the occurences of the votes on Nephthys down, Chaqa's vote there and then just felt ... wrong. It feels like locking in everyone in their votes, locking Neph to hang, since who would upset that voting count to cause chaos so close EoD. We were 13 at the time, 5 were more than a third of player and only if both second and third wagon combined vote for another that situation would've been broken.
I need to think more about it, later. I'm currently feeling too much, looking at my post. Maybe I'm seeing ghosts. Maybe I'm on to something. I need sleep.

I do agree with you that Chaqa's vote is probably what decided the lynch.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:34 amI don't know why, maybe I'm wrong, but when I wrote the occurences of the votes on Nephthys down, Chaqa's vote there and then just felt ... wrong. The question is, what does that tell us about Chaqa, if anything? If the competing wagons were all town, deciding the lynch is not something that scum particularly want to do. Even if one of them was scum, the chances were still in favor of Neph being the lynch. So even then it is uncertain that scum would step in to save a treammate.
I don't 100% townread Chaqa, but all in all, that vote makes me townlean him more than scumlean him.

No, but I'd be very suspicious of someone who votes me for no better reason than to "make EoD interesting", and I think it's INTERESTING that you react in the way you do.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:41 amYes, I can townread someone for their actions even if they voted me.
