He had a really bad injury last year. I'm guessing this is because of that.

Yeah, he could probably deliver an MLS championship coming off an injury.

Zlatan seems to still be dreaming of getting a position in the Swedish national team in the Football World Cup finals in Russia this summer. It will be interesting to see if that is more than just bold talks by the bold talker Zlatan...

Where in Sweden are you from Peterlund?
I actually studied in Lund which is why I'm asking.
He would be fun to watch in the world cup, but I feel like if he did it would be a one man show and I don't think that strategy would benefit Sweden at all.

The team made it through the qualifiers and won a spot in the World Cup finals without Zlatan, and I do not find it very polite if Zlatan now want to party crash and join the team at this LATE stage...
I live in Stockholm so it is some 6-7 hours north by car away from Lund, which is a very nice University city. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Sweden.

Sure Zlatan didn't play the qualifiers but if he can help Sweden in the tournament why not having him. It is not the first time that would happen and he has that magic touch that can decide the game in one little move.

Well, much as I love Zlatan, like a lot of older stars, he's been struggling. MLS is a tough league (not to be confused with good). LA Galaxy languish in ninth place, and Zlatan is not even the top scorer for LA Galaxy (Kamara is that) or their most efficient (That's Dos Santos). He joins a long list of players who think it'll be easy only to fade into anonymity as they get upstaged by relatively unfamous players.
