Yes, but almost all PRs are comfirable over the course of the game peter. You shooting them is pointless and destructive towards town. At some point we will massclaim actual PR roles and two roles will have two claimants. That’s when it would be smart to shoot

Thinking out loud: Chaqa scarily horrible this game. I truly can't conceive of him being town and playing this way. The only thing that comes to mind is he's so on tilt from ND, but I just don't get it.

I know. But you weren’t as loud as the rest. I did this all without reviewing anything because I’m busy reaver hunting. And you all should be looking for hypotheses too. Here’s what I’ve considered:

We should have people (suspects) recreate posts EXACTLY same quote of the same other people. Same post. We don’t need to actually break the code. We need to cause another violation.

I was looking forward to a nice holiday mafia game, but that wish was destroyed by "nitwits" (as ND puts it so elegantly) like Xorxes, Bozo, Tom, turning it all into a fools game.

I would like to "checkout" by continue as a lurk until I die, but I do have a responsibility to town not to, since I have a powerful role, so I participate a while longer.

I am JAYNE COBB, the HERO OF MUDTOWN. (the town vig)

I will select the first target myself. And if I am lucky hitting anyone out of town, I will get another shot. I will not shoot ND who seems to be one of the few sane people around here.

Now when Xorxes has been GM confirmed Captain, I am shooting Tom in order to confirm my role. The order has been PMed to the GM to be executed 7 hours before this current deadline (today 11 am EDT (NY time)).

I selected Tom because he was so eager on the mass-claim idea. That surprised me. And then he was hard on sheeping and budding Xorx when he claimed Captain. He is a low poster and he did not even bother to explain stuff and did not try to make sence to me or anyone else. No energy to do anything much. I was expecting a lot more from town Tom. Scum play it seems to me.

I was selecting between Bozo and Tom. Bozo really behaves like scum, but I concluded that the likelyhood of hitting scum was even higher with Tom. If the Captain asks me, I would contemplate to change the order to kill Bozo instead.

This is good news in that another scum has been caught by claiming PR. A D2 full mass claim will narrow down 2 scum.

Shooting in the PRs is still a bad idea, 8/10 town in the PRs vs. 4/7 town in the non-PRs, and if you shoot incorrectly in the non-PRs, you would not kill a PR. Shooting me would be a bad shot though.

Tom could very well be scum, but I have no reason to suspect him any more or any less than lots of other PR claimants. It seems like a random shot to me.

Yes, at least 2 PR claimants are non-town, but the rest are PRs. The non-town PR claimants can be caught easily with all PRs claiming their roles.

I am hoping for Tom to be the Reaver, but he could also be one of the Mafia 1 members. Tom is not behaving like a town!tom and he is not even behaving like a townPR!tom. He was way too fast to jump onto the mass-claim train and way too silent also for townRP!Tom.

Regarding the timing. I am out after the time I set and I will not participate very much after that time. I think I will be able to check in just before deadline but I am not sure.

If I do not get another shot, I will leave my possible after-being-lynched shot to the Captain to decide. If I am NKed or recruited, I will not get that extra shot.

Peter, I don't know why you decided to claim now instead of D1, but this is done. Shooting in the PR claimants list is a pretty bad choice, lower chances then a random shoot (2/10).
This said, if you didn't change your mind, give time for Tom to claim his role and time for a counterclaim, if there is no CC shoot in the VT list.

The point of this is: we don’t need to decrypt the reaver rule: we need to identify who triggers a warning.

Because I had promised not to take part in any mass-claim. N1 I am claiming in self-defence and I need to claim and kill to clear myself from mass-claim stupidity you all have created.

There would be no CC to whatever Tom chooses to claim. The real PR would wait for my kill to go through.
