Rivera finally says something sensible.

ND is my top suggestion for the Vig shot atm, but goldie is a close second.

I am, but if we have people not participating then why disclose more information to weaken our position further.

I also think there is some sense in not following you until you do the reveal. There have been times when people have faked a PR and did not get a counter claim in the past from the actual PR.

If the actual captain is out there, do you think it is in his best interests to claim?

If xorxes is lying, no they shouldn't. They have strong vote powers that are needed to prevent mylo/lylo if they last that long. This is one reason why I think xorxes claiming early is a little off, but NAI overall because he knows he usually dies early.

My reveal has zero relevance to the claims. People who make it contingent on that are looking for excuses.

Likewise, what is the danger in you revealing your claim now? You can prove it and alleviate any possible concerns, yet choose not to?

No danger. I just think forcing people to read me instead of bludgeoning them with a GM reveal is much more informative.

I was going to claim my role regardless of any support for the massclaim. Claiming it protects me from recruiting by the Reavers, and I don't think it makes me more of a NK candidate than not claiming it.

I'm confused. How does claiming it protect you from the Reaver? If you get 'turned' and don't get your extra votes couldn't you just claim to have been roleblocked?

Hmmm... You made me go back and read more setup info. Good catch: all RB's do say they go into the day phase, so the extra votes could be RB'ed.

Pretty sure Chaqa, emc and Tem are all town.

bozo I'm a little more hesitant. I thought his support for the massclaim was a bit wishy washy given his meta. But I don't have any strong reason to scumread him either. Given the scarcity of VT claims (I was expecting the 5 slots to fill up quite quickly) I am leaning town. Real VT have very little reason not to claim, and so these may very well be four real VTs and the last one could be someone like Vecna who has not even been playing. I don't like any of these for the lynch, and I recomment that the Vig not shoot in this pool.

Captain isn't a good recruit after being revealed as it will be obvious he was recruited when he lose the double vote. If Xorxes is real captain he is probably counting on this and on protectives.

You mean before EoD1, so that the double vote is visible D1. Otherwise he continues to be a recruit target.

You are right. EoN1 is ok, since we also expect the double vote to be visible day 2 unless he has not been recruited N1.

If he gets targetted by scum RB, then he *may* not get his vote increase on D2 and that could cause confusion and lead to people thinking he was Reapered.
