The crux of the RHK issue is that if an un cc’d Cop who just lynched scum announces they have a guilty, the natural town immediate reaction I would expect is to believe it. I would not expect town to question it, or ask why I wasn’t roleblocked, unless they had that on the mind because they knew I was roleblocked

Dont count on this logic too much though. Your story had a ton of flaws in it (like, why on earth would you save your actual cop scan for N3? and not N2 even if for some reason you decided to vanilla cop on N1).

I find it much more plausible that scum do the chickenshit thing and just pretend to be clueless.

If we buy that he is genuinely upset then I would say that's a big town tell. I'm still not sure if I do buy it, it's hard to tell with newbies.

Ripper's Knife is a pretty nice item, but 4 pieces of information could turn the tide.

Though I'm not too sure I'd be willing to vote for Tom just because a little part of me says he is on Team 2. I mean in the game emc was talking about Tom was VT so it seems like if he's lying about Sherlock he could any other role.

No, I wouln't have believed you if you had claimed at the last minute, so if true it's better this way. So what were those reads on rivera and Bob that you never acted on about?

Not never. As I said, when the real Sherlock flips or claims. The real Sherlock doesn't have to claim immediately if there's a reason to wait, but there's no point in risking the lynch of a PR when there's an easy way to verify whether the claim is true or not.

I stated right in that post. Rdr had misconstrued the SK wincon, and I have a habit of almost always reading rdr as scum (and tunneled him to a mislynch more than once for it)

Bob to that point was trying to hard to shitpost and fluff fill with EMC with a strange bozo interation in the middle. It was all over the place and made no sense.

Also, I made that post 8 hours into the game. Shit any town could have picked two random people and had a 10% chance to hit two scum.
