That's part of the consideration, yeah. Also, it looks to me like Xorxes has not been trying to solve the game, talking alot/saying little, etc... So it's not entirely sheeping, I'd like to see him come out with some real effort... (Especially after he deflected my request for his reads last night and logged off, and hasn't been back since...)

My intent was for overt changes at the end of a phase to kill Schrodinger's vote. It really shouldn't be a consideration at any point before then.

I didn't think about how you'd react to my answer. I saw an opportunity to help pressure vote where I think pressure needs to be applied (and maybe seen through), and since we're going to end up in the same place, I don't quite see the problem with me taking that into account as part of my consideration.

Can you two explain to me why is it important that scum doesn't find out which one DD is? Whoever it is, if town, is immune from the nk, if scum you probably won't risk doing the nk because then you might be outed when you suddenly get a vote.

Scum are less likely to target both of us if that info isn't public, whereas only one of us gets that protection if we figure it out, and likewise either of us as scum is less likely to target anyone else at night (though I certainly would have peeked already if I were scum, so that one's really a moot point).

So my two top scumreads are away, one sunbathing in Puerto Rico and the other fighting the elements in Alabama, so that means I won't get any truck if I try to lynch them.

Durga and tham still look pretty much town to me, even though I don't get tham's sundry misquotings. @Tham, can you tell me something about your "townslip"? Why did you think there were five mafia instead of four?

Ezio and bozo are both town until someone convinces me otherwise.

That leaves the hard cases: ghug, nesdunk, rd and Fox. I think ghug has good chances but everyone else is townreading him, Fox is the least likely of this group, so I'm going to start the day with ##VOTE nesdunk.

Why would you have peeked as scum? What if you were BO_SOX?

And why do you care so much if one of you loses the protection? Even if you're a PR, it's the Oracle, so you don't need the protection, and if you're VT, what does it matter if you're targeted?

The damndaniel tag is worse for scum, I think. It makes visits especially awkward, and it lessen's the team's voting impact much more considerably than it does for town. Add to that that my odds of being daniel are significantly higher than of being bo, and I think a peek would be worthwhile as scum.

'm fond of my own abilities, and we're out of PRs for whom dying is necessarily bad, so NK avoidance is a worthwhile goal.

Ensuring that we're aware of what the vote count is going to be before the day ends is also a worthwhile goal, I think. Would you disagree?

Oh because having the tag means you can't visit anyone??? I feel like, if scum had the tag, they would have gotten that person to visit someone on n1 - so the fact that one of ghug or fox has it, kind of clears them both in my mind.

well actually, the d1 pool for potential people that could have this was not that large.... so maybe not. but either way, i think we should be less concerned about those two.
