Heavy assumptions of what scum would have been doing that night with very little to back them up that I could see.damo666 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:58 amI don't get why it is particularly scummy or odd.xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:52 amIt's just one thing you said that I'm not sure how to explain why you would say it with the info you had as town. Instead of telling me that I'm wrong, you could just explain why you said what you said ("I was drunk" doesn't count, because it's something very specific).

That's something I have been feeling this game, all my town reads seems weak and it's harder to find scummy behaviors or patterns.xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:35 amThis is a very good observation. I have avoided calling anyone town or scum explicitly in this game, although I had not noticed it consciously until you pointed it out. The reason is that I have not found yet anything strong enough to call anyone scum, and the mechanics prevents calling anyone town with any certainty.
I am on a plane, so don't expect much of me today.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Not PR as the 2nd class. I figured they had no PRs, but ND had been saying he knew everything and as awesome. But he didn't explain, he just taunted.xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:56 amWhy should scum have had ND as their only identified PR though? And what did you mean by doctors being already busy with something else?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:31 amI still honestly don't see it, Xorxes. Who should scum target? PRs if they know them. Otherwise, probably "good" players who say they know stuff but aren't sharing yet. Sounds about right to me. If you think that's not a priority target, then we play scum very differently.
As for the doctors: Chaq had publicly claimed he was saving himself. Which is a point against Chaq in my book as it's not advancing town.

Wasn't that last game when you were the SK?xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:31 am
Not completely true. I called damo scum in one game because he used the same word to describe bozo that I had used as scum the game before (I don't remember the exact details anymore). It turned out I was right that damo was scum, but wrong about damo just copying me (at least that's what damo says, and there's no reason to doubt him) but a lot of people to this day keep repeating that I caught damo doing something he did not in fact do (ask damo, he doesn't like it when people bring that up).

Yes. I have very little idea how town can win in this set up.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:22 pmThat's something I have been feeling this game, all my town reads seems weak and it's harder to find scummy behaviors or patterns.xorxes wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:35 amThis is a very good observation. 1 or 2 paes behind.emc talks, I can't point something specific but his posts made me feel lile he is looking at the game with the scums sight where they know the roles already. But really really, that's not a trustable impression, especially considering scum don't know other two evil factions. I don't scumread e.m.c... yet.
Nice to meet new plyers. Kalel is making good posts and I got a townlean from him.

I agree that we need to hunt for scums. While the two mafia teams are unaware of the opposite teams, any effort for catching them would be towny - therefore wrong.

Y’all are overblowing this “it’s really hard to scumhunt and townread in multimafia” angle

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
Tems reaction to becoming a wagon puts him in the town camp
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
I mean...I personally think forum mafia is near impossible to scum hunt anyways. But people tell me it isn’t, so I try. Because I like a challenge. But this seems to be making the impossible even more so.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:59 pmY’all are overblowing this “it’s really hard to scumhunt and townread in multimafia” angle

Someone else said it, but I’ll have to look back and see who - I think it was Vecna - but Tem seemed more sad/defeated about becoming a wagon. I would expect a scumbo to be more angry/upset than sad.
IMO people get sad when the are going to be mislynch Ed, that get angry when they are getting correctly lynched

Good morning, all. Black Friday... ooOOoOO sounds scary.
I've come to the realization that my posts aren't helping town. Seeing people's lists I'm either forgettable or showing up scummy-ish. Let me know if I can help, but I'll try to stay out of the way and not make matters worse.

The way you can help is by posting your thoughts as the come. Silent people are hard to sort, and this good for scum. Even if your ideas are wrong (most of ours end up being wrong if you go back and look), sharing your thoughts helps town look into your mindset which is how we sort you into scum and town.

Thanks! I'm glad it's you Tom saying this, because you are pro-town in my eyes. It's easier to take advice mid-game when we are on the same teamTom Bombadil wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 3:21 pmThe way you can help is by posting your thoughts as the come. But post N1 he has justified his taunting. It was a shot-gun all over everyone.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:56 pmNot PR as the 2nd class. I'd say that Chaq's fake claim did set up the environment for ND to pull of his gambit. Not that I think they're coordinating at that level, just that ND saw the impact and took advantage of it.
