I am missing something here. Why a no-lynch is better on this setup? Sure there could be Mafia deaths at night, but we still need to get info from lynches (and hopefully catch scum) so we can get Mafia (or 3P) later. Or we just sit and wait for Mafia, Jack and Hyde to kill themselves? We won't even know who killed who.

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
It's pretty easy to get updated with my posts, all the rest are in the last two pages. Read that, and then feel free to question me on whatever you find fluffy. And seriously, I kind of hate pushing one perspective as "right" because tunneling is bad, and I'll probably tunnel the wrong thing, so I try to analyse it without going "here's a conclusion, I'm right." Which, coincidentally, is also why I generally apologise for getting things wrong, despite the ridiculous amount of scumlean it gathers.Vaporwave wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 9:39 ammany things, how he chose a female role for a comedic claim, how he hedges on whether Hyde should be lynched or notKalelChase wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 1:00 amVapor, can you give us a little more about what it is you disliked?
Is it the poetry, or all the ... "oh, it's just a joke phase" statements?
and he just fluffs and fluffs
it's a bit depressing so my vote stays
I'm not updated with his posts, so
who's your main fishy fellow, Kalel?
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
@Bob I said Male as gambler is female.
Having read your recent post regarding the joke claim I am gonna stick with assuming you are VT (and a male to boot)

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
This is a good point. I foolishly did not consider this. I think I may be doing that thing I did with Ezio where I was just like "this strategy is so outrageous it must be town!" And I was wrong last time, I may well be wrong again. Either way, I think Chaqa's decision wasn't great if he is Jekyll, and, as with Ezio, my confidence of it as a town play is decreasing somewhat.BionicMole wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 8:44 pmI have been thinking about this for the last 10 minutes or so and I felt pretty good about Chaq's explanation until I ran across bozo's post saying Jekyll should claim (#61). Then I started to think that maybe this could be a ploy between scum teammates to throw us off in the early stages.

Glad to see Bunny return although content deteriorated.
And I shall use them related vernacular when I deem it appropriate. If anybody doesn't understand they can always ask. In other words I'll rabbit on 'ow I bleedin" well wanna. Ok mush?

@noobs don't be put off by ND"s abrasive style. It's just him messing around.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
With the set up D1 No Lynch is stronger than a typical game and I wouldn't be averse.
rdr"s point about losing data is valid though (albeit one scum is likely to make)

Okay, I'm gonna chuck down a vote now, so you all have something to go on.
##Vote Vapor
Partially due to his "strong nothing strong," partially his "uncertainty" about Jack's win-con without even going to check it, partially for his voting emc because of his joking "buddying", and partially for calling me out for fluffing and a lack of solid opinions, despite me being scummed for that last game as town.

Vapor showed faith in my coming. I shall return like the Messiah, and Vapor believed. But I dunno if I town lean that or just appreciate the faith.

I'm glad I abstained from making harsh judgments on him!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, it's a rushed post, I've explained it a few times
I feel it as strong vibes, but not enough for a FIXED strong alignment

Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
This has, I have to say, been a bizarre D1 compared to my three earlier games.
There has been no major wagon to discuss on, and activity has, frankly, been quite low.
Let's talk about no lynch then.
Usually the D1 lynch is almost always town, though wagon movements and other factors could help entering mid/late game, which is the main argument to not NL D1 anyways despite the unfavourable statistics against us town.
However, with small rival mafia factions who want each other dead as much as we want them to, and a hostile 3P in the mix. I would say it is harder than usual to obtain useful info from a lynch. That and the average of 2.5 NKs each night that might hit scum as well, are probs why no lynch might work this game.
However, odds of lynching maf and hostile 3P are significantly higher than previous games, with 7/23 compared to 6/20, 5/20 and 5/19
Tell me what you guys think, I want the best for us.

So you scumread the person who has posted the least and the two people who put a pressure vote on you for posting very little. You can't get much lazier than that.
Re: MAFIA 51 - LONDON BY GASLIGHT [HIDDEN]
The odd part is he said "that he needs to kill those ladies with his own knife" which are pretty much the same words used in Jack's role description. That makes him a good suspect for Jack. Why would you be reading him as Jekyll?BobMcBob wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:08 amReading Vapor's message, I assumed the role description was unclear about it. But no, it says very clearly he must kill them with his own knife. This seems very odd, and I’m currently reading Vapor as either Jekyll or Jack.xorxes wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 1:30 pmJekyll only wins with town, Hyde loses if town wins. So they can't win together.
The role description is pretty clear about that. Now you make me wonder whether you're being disingenuous here...
also I'm not sure if someone else killing a female will input a success onto Jack or rather that he needs to kill those ladies with his own knife
