I think I'll be taking a closer look at the people who claimed Flavius "scumslipped" tonight. It was the point where I think a lot went wrong, and something about the whole situation just felt odd.

The inciting incident:

Im not saying it wasnt a reaction test, but look at the differences between bo's and ezio's reaction tests. One kept the fueling of the flames, and found a scum, not only that he didnt do literally the only reaction test that a scum must say to enact their ability.
Ezio said the forbidden words, dropped off the face of earth, caused huge disruption, and now people are playing with nonsense to prove his innocence

I hadn't looked up Flav's reads so I naturally wanted clarity, so I did what a great number of people should've done and asked questions. It felt like a throwaway comment about Ezio not posting a full analysis of the responses he read, and I figured it might be helpful to also get an idea of Flav's thoughts on other things that have happened in the game.

Yet a decent handful of people took that comment in a WHOLE other direction. Those people were:
Jamie, worcej, Ezio, Kalel, bozotheclown
rdrivera (note bold)

The one who really started taking it down the dark path was Jamie. Page 43 he sees the post and believes it to be a scum slip based on the premise that Flavius "knows" damo is scum.
Then follow worcej, Ezio, and Kalel onto the wagon, with others considering it but not yet placing votes.
The other two on my list stand out for other reasons. They both talk about the wagon and interact with it for a little while, bozo pressuring him until he says he can't claim his role, and eventually pushing Flav to claim bulletproof, which later spiraled into everyone voting for Flav.

And then rivera, who stands out the most to me as someone who started talking about it EARLY but not getting on the wagon until everybody decided to lynch Flav as a role confirm. When I say he started early, I mean his post saying he thought it was convincing as a scumslip was when the wagon was at a grand total of 2 votes. The degree to which he attempted to be a voice on the wagon is unclear, but he most certainly seemed to want to stoke the fire, but he only actually joined into the fray when it became clear that there was no alternative to the lynch.

This REEKS of scumplay. To a degree far beyond the other people on the list. Looking back at his other posts there's absolutely nothing to make up for it. Hedging, weird anger at people for answering questions not necessarily directed at them, inessential and unproductive questions, little to no actual deduction. I just can't envision any of this being town.

I assume there will be one or two other scum on this wagon, so this is a good place to focus at least SOME thought.

This, I feel is the biggest non-town indicator in Ezio's plan. He diverted a lot of votes and attention for 12 hours, and then came out of it with a reads post that had little explanation (apart from his lynch on principle thing, which is lame) and virtually nothing to do with his reaction test. He seems to have drawn very little out of it.

Started with a post about all the scum/3p roles that was obviously prepared when she heard about the restart. NAI.
Massclaim stuff before assassin got cleared up. Talking about benefits for flushing 3ps.
Supported bozo's leader claim idea.
Clashed with bo over bozo's plan.
Cleared up issues around assassin and continued clashing with bo. Made some comments around being a noob, supporting bozo's plan (still) and townread bozo because of a meta built in M49.
Scumread bunny for being less active than in M49, which seems okay.
Started up on some hammerer shenannigans, including over her use of the g-word. However by my reading of the rules, she's safe here.
Continued discussion over massclaim, disagreeing with it.
Started discussion over "scumslip". Still seems okay so far. I don't think it really was a scumslip, but still an odd choice of side note.
Asked for more reasoning on Tem's vote, calling it opportunistic and then OMGUSing him.
Gave rdr town points for "keeping people on track" in terms of roles.
Changed vote to and :) Then back to Tem.
Exploded over Jamie's comment on her and vote and heavily defended herself and Bionic. Seems odd, after responding so calmly to dargo pointing it out. Especially since it was clear Jamie was joking.
Then went back to fighting bozo over her "scumslip", but giving him townie points for town meta tunneling.
Massive reads post. Notably scumread Temasek, Ezio, and perhaps more notably, no-one else. Also stated flat-out (after mentioning it several times) that she knew she was town. I don't know, but I don't like it when people do that. It seems odd, and I try to avoid it.

Note: At this point I voted for Kitsune. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure why anymore. I found something in their posts that I can't see when skimming them now. I think I was swayed by the others here. I was looking for somewhere to put my vote that was actually valid before leaving, and seeing other people's opinions and hearing of her "good acting" made me decide to put it there. I didn't believe in the Ezio wagon after all.

After ISOing her up to here, I'm not sure. She doesn't seem to be scum, but it could be acting. Also I hate it when people say "I know I'm town" but I didn't (still don't) like Flav's playstyle and he's town.

Also, can people stop jumping on me for being apologetic? In the case of Flav, I had no clue how useful an active poster was. I didn't know I was supposed to start a spreadsheet with scum/town points on it (and stupidly didn't keep a list of reasons for my reads), and I rely on public opinion because of my lack of meta and game knowledge. I know my play is probably poorer than it should be for even a noob, but if anyone wants to lynch me for being apologetic or clunky go ahead. I'll keep apologising until I stop screwing things up badly.

@Ezio After mentoring me, you should know how apologetic and second-guessing I normally am, why are you jumping on me for it now?
