As for the space stone, when yuuki didn't post overnight I thought perhaps they were under its influence. Now we know that the effect will be announced by the GM in the thread (maybe that's in the item description... if so I missed it), so that's irrelevant.

I saw the stone claim but didn't move my vote. Anything claim-related said in the last few minutes isn't reliable, especially considering he was a leading wagon for the better part of D1 + had plenty of time to claim.

If bozo actually had the time stone, he'd have said so with enough time for us to vet it. I believe common practice on here is at least 30 mins, but preferable an hour or more.

They would have to be extremely lucky to hit the Vig, get targeted by the smith, and get a gun. And have had concocted a plan for what to do in that hugely unlikely scenario.

Not sure why it would have to be kit that got gunned though?

This is the edge case I was thinking about, though I didn't think that they needed to get the gun via the item smith to try it. janitor!Jamie might've thought they could run the gambit if they closeted vig!emc.

It would be very high risk to do that, though, because if Jamie doesn't shoot he becomes highly suspect.

But anyhoo that's why I'm so interested to see if the shot goes off.

Somebody claimed being role blocked. We assumed that Ultron successfully blocked. Is it possible that instead they tried to follow Loki and were stopped by Loki's power?

Would it just be "blocked" both ways?

The ninja generally does not return a "roleblock" to being tracked. That would largely defeat the point of them being undetected since it would be a different report from tracking a player who took no action.

The post immediately after is the one where you list Jamie as top scum read without even addressing his gun claim, so it doesn't really explain anything.

Were you aware that emc and myself were already clear when you were doing that analysis or not? Were you aware of Jamie's gun claim when you listed him as top scum or not?

I still think his play was dodgy and thought Maniac was being serious with the cc (I also Maniac to explain his D1 shot choice). In the case of a cc previous behaviour is rather important to look at to work out who is lying.

Honeslty, I did forget about EMC briefly. You I knew but included for the sake on completeness. Having (2) known town in my analysis indicates the possible utility of it (ie not much)

I was pretty set on townreading [EP*] before but it's sort of wavering. Now that I'm thinking about it more I may downgrade EP to null. I'll wait to see more from sulit and also see how sulit and EP interact, since EP should in theory be interested in the slot they prevented from being lynched, especially since EP was effectively claiming that slot could be town based on their opinion of ND.

I mean, part of the reason was for ND's meta. I've never played with sulit though, so I don't think ND's meta and D1 actions are helpful in informing how sulit will act for the rest of the game.

What's your read on sulit?

I'll have to keep it null for now but I'd like to have a real read before end of day. It seems to me like sulit should now be well caught up and has had a chance to question the votes, various people's reads, etc., so now I'm hoping they'll provide their perspective so we can sort them.

All "roleblocked" means is that he was visited by the Roleblocker. The Roleblocker does not know if they had any actions to perform or not, and the person roleblocked is told they were roleblocked whether they had actions or not.

In other words, if Fox is telling the truth about being roleblocked, he can still be a VT or SK or PR. And mafia don't know what he is.

That's why claiming the roleblock is always the pro-town thing to do, Mafia already know who they roleblocked.

So no, you can't conclude anything about Fox's role just because he claimed that he was roleblocked, even if we believe the claim (which in principle there's no reason to doubt, although of course he is not in any way clear).

Town points to Fox. I don't picture scum wasting a RB to get town cred when they'd be searching for doc/tracker/smith/vig.

Good point. I was suspicious of Fox's claim but you're right that there are a good number of worthwhile RB targets.

Uhh as for my opinion on ND,

I admit that their earlier posting was really weird and I have no clue why they did that, is this something they normally do?

Also the other point to their reaction to Chaqa, honestly I think that was fair because Chaqa reasoning was just meh I don’t like it when people play roles. The reaction seemed really big and out of the ordinary, but it’d depend on how ND usually plays and what their meta is

Their like acting stuff whatever really confused me and I wish I could ask them why they did it.

It’s kinda tough for me to defend my slot because I really don’t know what was going through ND’s head

And it’s kinda tough for me to get into games that I replace into just because I haven’t been in it since the start and it’s hard for me to form opinions without having been able to post earlier, and to be able to focus on reading the excess pages and analyze them without having interacted with the other players or really posted yet.

As for things that have stood out to me so far:

I feel like Chaqas just taken a backseat in the conversation, and I’d really like to see more from them (I say that and I haven’t done anything but)

Brainbomb is just kind a a weird read for me because I feel like his reads are jsut being brushed to the side. No one is really paying attention to them, and he is usually really accurate. This makes me think that he’s getting close, and the thing about him is that he has really good reads, but people don’t pay attention to him because his post style and it’s easy for scum to just bat his posts aside and dismiss him.

I have more reads but that’s all i can push out right now, I need to head out for 3-4 hours

I confess I am getting mixed vibes from you Xorxes. This comment about me is exactly what Maniac described on his case on you. Subtle shading. Manipulating without really pushing.

I am not going to push either you or bozo today, but I don't have a townlean on either of you, and I think at least one of you might be scum. There's nothing subtle or manipulative about that, it's as clear as I can make it.

Now it's clear. Your last post about me and Bozo was saying that it isn't true me and Bozo very often misread each other and it was not clear if you thought I was lying or if you thought I was right about Bozo and later you could choose the option that fits better.

We have also a tendency of misread the other and I am also not wanting to push you today.

brainbomb is probably going to shout at me about this, but now I am realizing that rdr gave no good reason to vote bozo, explicitly noted that they misread bozo frequently which to me looks more hedgy than an actual reason to be voting for bozo, and just parked the vote and never moved around. That does not look so good.
