Pretty much anyone getting into depth about finding the SK gets a scum ping from me. Mafia can often fake solve by focusing more on the SK. Their solving looks more genuine because they actually don't have the information + their guesses are sincere.

That's not to say that ALL SK talk is bad, just that scum are more likely to engage with it than town because of the sincerity it can generate.

We shouldn't confuse SK hunting with scum hunting. It's not the same.

@emc and @xorxes: What was your reasoning in both following Vapor's lead here so quickly? I'm fairly sure you weren't coordinating elsewhere (at least neither of you read scummy to my view) so does he have a meta habit of making the right call at the last second? Why did you abandon the Maniac wagon here?

Obviously to try to save bozo's presumed stone, yes. The question should be why brain and EP did not move their vote, since both of them were there.

brain at least gave an answer: He indicated that he did not believe bozo's claim because bozo could have used the stone to prove himself. That was actually wrong, but at least is something. EP did not say anything.

I was fine with the first 2, a bit iffy on Kalel but it seems that she has picked up her pace

Hmmm, 30 minutes before deadline maniac votes for EP, a mini wagon, and basically brings it into line with several 3/4 wagons.

Maniac did you intentionally want to cast a vote that would muddle rather than polarize the voting at this juncture?

I always try and make a meaningful vote. I was at a quiz where i couldn't use my phone and then had a 30min+ drive home. I glanced at the site, realised my vote for xorxes was wasted so switched to Espresso. That brought Esp back into the frame. Perhaps we could get some info about late vote swapping when 3 or 4 are in the frame in the last 30 mins. IDK. If we do get any info from that it'll probably be much later in the game.

My main scum read was xorxes (and still is) and my second scum read was espresso, but that relies on xorxes being scum too.

Can you briefly outline why you think it's a xorxes/EP team? Assuming scum!EP for a moment, why would I start bussing him in D1 without any need to do so?

Not exactly what you mean by "following the same trains of thought", but static reasoning is more of a sign of scumminess than towniness. Having said that, he is actually moving towards the town side of my table now, even if not there yet.

As in, when rivera is scum he tends towards short posts, little activity, and out of those few posts most of them will be non-sequitur from each other - in the fact that they will be simply summaries of "reads" with little content behind it, and there's little to none building/referencing on previous posts at all. That's what I meant by "following same trains" - something he has done somewhat to an extent so far
