ND normally plays personas. I attacked him pretty hard in m1007 for it, but it turns out he's town.

I'd rather see if he keeps it up in D2. That's when he dropped the act in m1007.

And it's pretty hard to have a good reason when all the references people make are to old games and old styles of play.

This is actually a very valid point. I'm still pretty new here but I've assimilated enough that I am now doing the thing I hated only a few games ago. I should probably not do that. As Neph pointed out it actually makes it very hard for new players to enjoy the game.

If I cast my mind out back to the thread, and I use the two heuristics that scum try to push agendas and/or try to be passively active or "blendy," and I focus on just stuff within this game - and this is off my memory of my reading the past hour, so more high level intuition than specifics - the pushiest player so far feels like brainbomb, and the most passive-active feels like Maniac.

To choose between them... brainbomb has a big meta advantage because of their play style. Scum tends not to NK brain, so scum!brain could merge into town for a long time without an investigation.

This is the post I was referring to sorry, and it was foodcoats not Foxcastle.

So since I can't judge on meta without sheeping I was looking for someone force-feeding their agenda vs all opposition or someone who wasn't trying to drive any investigation but just keep a low profile and just sort of be there ambiently.

Currently that points to Bozo for me. It's weaker than I like, and I'm somewhat nervously looking forward to finding out if I'm a hero or an idiot in a few minutes' time... but very open to other ideas.
