Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
There we go, I got some points. This 3-way tie is intense though. And the other 3-way tie...
And yes Claesar, I am completely sure that neither me nor Jamiet will be getting zero points. (Well, I am now).

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I was right when I posted though. Also, you owe me an entry fee. I'm serious. Why did you even join? I said I had three already. Should've joined Tr or Squigs like I posted.
##gift Chaqa 1 point
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Bob, you also owe Chaqa a compensation. You messed up his score. He deserved 9 points here.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I do not owe anyone compensation for getting myself points and making sure no-one was leading this round (Claesar).
I had no idea who was going where out of the two populars, as nobody had bothered to tell me. If you want to make me pay you for your lack of communication, I won't.
And anyway, this join made sure the pack was more even. Guess who would be the winner if I joined anyone else? Claesar. It's no wonder he wants me to pay for his losses.
I made no agreements with anyone else here, and Claesar did not communicate clear enough or soon enough. I owe no entry fee if you did not set one.
Rant over.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I communicated very clearly. I'll give you one last chance to reconsider. You're obviously in the wrong.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Uhhh... only the exclusive coalition gets to decide who is in their coalition or not. By your logic Jamie owes a bunch of people points for screwing over the double gamble last phase. You didn't see us asking Jamie for points did you? You know I love you Claesar, but you're wrong.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
If it had been a gamble or double gamble I'd screwed over, I'd be reacting differently. As it is, everybody still got points. I couldn't join Squigs, and joining tr would give me no points. I have support from Squigs and Jamie, who both would have got more points if I'd joined Squigs. You're just wrong.

Your problem. I have friends. Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Your friends can't save you. My new goal is to ruin your game. Whenever you make a Gamble Coalition, I might be in it without a word.
You disrespect me like this, I strike back. WAR.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I'm with McBob in this war. Claesar got caught in multiple lies that round. First he said his coalition was a Cult. Then he said it was full with 3 when SignalsEngineer hadn't joined. McBob and Jamie could have joined my coalition and stuck Cleasar with 0 points. But obviously none of us knew that.
I hope we get thievery next round. That should be fun.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
In my defence, SignalsEngineer posted in this thread that he had joined me ánd confirmed this in a PM. I reminded him to let Temasek know, both in this thread and via PM. I will not accept responsibility for his failure.tr1285 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 12:19 pmI'm with McBob in this war. Claesar got caught in multiple lies that round. Yes, I lied about my Coalition being a Cult. This was necessary due to the game mechanics. Anyone who joined received more points than they could've expected (except Chaqa, who was screwed over by Bob and Jamie).
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Sorry for not posting this earlier, I had a really sudden meeting :/
Phase 4 phase rule: We're at the halfway point, so you all now have more choice than usual, at 5 coalition types. Also, the Solitary coalition is immune to the attacks of other coalition types.
The “Solitary” Coalition: This coalition only consists of one member, the leader. The leader gains 5 points.
The “Friend” Coalition: There is no leader in this coalition. To join a coalition, PM the GM ##Friend [player]. If two players friend each other, they both gain 8 points. If a player gives their friendship and it is not reciprocated, they do not gain any points, and their target gains 2 points.
The “Mob” Coalition: This coalition does not have a leader, and cannot be created. Phases that include the Mob coalition will have one leaderless mob that players can join by sending ##Join Mob. If a majority (or exactly half) of the players are in the mob, no one in the mob will score any points. If a majority of the players are outside the mob, 18/n points will be awarded to each player in the mob, where n is the number of players in the mob.
The "Burglar" Coalition: This coalition is leaderless. To join this coalition, a player PMs the GM with ##Steal [player]. If two or more players steal from the same player, the burglars gain 6 points each and the target loses 6 points. However, a player with protection cannot be stolen from.
The “Bodyguard” Coalition: This coalition is leaderless. To join this coalition, a player PMs the GM with ##Guard [player]. If two or more players protect the same player, that player gains protection. A player with protection cannot be stolen from and a coalition they lead cannot be hijacked. If a bodyguard has a successful guard on a player that was a target of a theft or hijack, the bodyguard gains 7 points.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
If I remember correctly, a player can not use himself as a target of a Bodyguard or Burglary?
Also for a Bodyguard to be successful "target of a theft or hijack" means at least one player targeted him/her or it has to be minimum of 2, as in the theft would be successful without the Bodyguard?

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Maybe i didn't read with enough attention but... what do you mean by hijacking a coalition? How is it done, and what happens?
