GM Note: You can't join a Solitary Coalition. Once you create it, no one else can join and you'll walk away with 4 pointsChaqa wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 6:30 pmHow can you join a Solitary Coalition?SignalsEngineer wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 6:28 pmUpvote this post the most and I will join the either any random “Solitary” Coalition or the “Gamble” Coalition which gave me the least number of upvotes.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I like so much the endless possibilities of this game, where each coalition type requires a different approach to make it work as well as to sabotage it
To be honest I don't like so much the flea market about giving +1 to one post or another... so if you agree with me please +1 this message :D :D

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Joins are done privately, so make sure you send in a PM with this. Thx
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I think when I ran this the first time around, my +1 bonus rule was hidden till end of phase, which made for different gameplay. This way is much more just +1 whoring (which I'm not opposed to +1 whoring)gimix wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 11:54 pmI like so much the endless possibilities of this game, where each coalition type requires a different approach to make it work as well as to sabotage it

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
You can ask either Temasek or I about rules or look at the first playthrough of the game (I might be able to dig up the link).
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
At this point joining Chaqas coalition would be pointless. Joining mine gives you more points. Plus I'll +1 you if you join mine. I don't want everyone joining mine though, that would actually hurt everyone on it.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I said I'd join a Gamble, so if no one does I should join Bob :-\
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
You really shouldn't, unless you find a friend. And if you find a friend you should get them to make their own coalition, and then join that instead.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Oh God, my Internet was down for a few days, and now I missed all this. I probably need to catch up. What do you guys suggest?
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Create a Gamble Coalition. I'll join it. We each get 8 points.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Whoops, I butchered that quote.
Somebody just get on with it and create another gamble already! You have one and a half hours left (or something like that). And don't join mine!
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
##Create Gamble
Claesar has informed me he doesn't want to join my coalition, so this is a *gamble* by me that someone will. Please PM me first and wait for confirmation before you join though.
The best you could reasonably hope for in joining one of the popular coalitions is 24/3 = 8 points, and that's only if you pick the right one without going up to 4. Joining my Gamble is almost a guaranteed 8 points.

Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I've changed my mind. I was trying to help ItsHosuke, but he's not replying. I've joined the Gamble of tr1285.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Cool. These gambles will be somewhat harder to sabotage now.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
I'm also willing to +1 other people's posts if they +1 post #5 as well. I'll check tomorrow within an hour of the phase shift and +1 everyone on it.
Re: Coalition II: The Shifting Alliances
Gentle GM reminder: You only have 14 hours left to PM me if you want to join a coalition!
