France is burning

#1 Post by Octavious » Fri Jun 30, 2023 10:13 pm

Faced with these savage hordes, calling for calm is no longer sufficient, it must be imposed!

Restoring order and placing those arrested out of harm’s way must be the only political signals given out.

Faced with such acts of violence, the police family must remain united.

Our colleagues, like the majority of citizens, can no longer suffer the dictates of these violent minorities.

It is not the time for union action but for the fight against this “vermin”.

To surrender, capitulate and make them happy by laying down our arms is not the solution given the seriousness of the situation.

All means must be put in place to restore the rule of law as fast as possible.

Once restored, we already know that we will relive this anarchy that has plagued us for decades.

For these reasons, Alliance Police Nationale and UNSA Police will assume their responsibilities and we warn the government henceforth that when this is over, we will continue to act and without concrete measures to legally protect the police, without a proper penal response, along with significant means, the police will cast judgment depending on the level of consideration they are granted.

Today, the police are in combat for we are at war.

Tomorrow we will enter resistance and the government should be aware of this

Rather unnecessarily combative talk, given that the institutional racism of the police is part of the spark for the protests.

I really hate doing this, but CIA mouth piece has a tiny bit of interesting information:

It was rather remarkable, wasn't it? A statement like that from the British police would be unthinkable.

Well technically the equivalent would be the Police Federation of England and Wales, but yes, unthinkable.

"OK, they're French, but these are French people in their official identity, and unfortunately for the second and third generations [of immigrants], there is a sort of regression toward their ethnic roots. It's a double blow for French people: They have paid already, and now we're going to need to rebuild because these savage people have set fire to them,"
Retailleau, head of Les Republicans

French mainstream politics, there.

But fear not, the great Macron has the answer. The next time riots flare up France could impose a social media blackout in the finest traditions of the peace loving and orderly nations of China and Russia

Well... maybe not the next riots if anger about the latest police killing in Marseilles spreads. We shall see...
