Eh, I'm fine. Being circumcised, as far as I know has not caused me any problems. I have heard that sex is more enjoyable for someone who is uncircumcised. I can confirm that it still feels great regardless. I harbor no ill will towards my parents.

Not sure “hate” is the right word. It’s just not “normal” in most European countries, or at least wasn’t when I was young. There was still some stigma associated, maybe a hangover of the virulent anti-semitism of not long before. Most of my generation had parents & other family members that fought in WW2.
Like the post above mentioned for Central America, where a thing is unusual/abnormal it gets treated as a rather bizarre practise.
“Religious groups” do it, but not “us”.
I am told that in USA this is not the case & my first girlfriend in USA had to explain that uncircumcised males were quite rare in USA, which of course was a bit of a shock for me. At the time I thought it was only people from the Middle East that adopted this practise.

I’m glad I wasn’t circumcised for the same reasons I abhor most things humans do to themselves in an attempt to improve on nature’s work. Boob jobs, nose jobs, facelifts, Grecian 2000, Botox, I’m sure you can think of others.
I believe we are made the way we are supposed to be & our attempts to do things “better” are the miserable failures you could expect.
Maybe that’s another debate however...

First I would make it clear that I am quite aware that I do not have the largest tool in the hardware store, but I'm definitely in the top 15%.

Yeah circumcision is the norm here in the US. Having been an infant I don't remember my circumcision and so I don't hold it against my parents or doctor or society at all.
I remember being told when I was a child that circumcision helped prevent infection or something along those lines, and used that as an explanation for why it was so common. Kind of like getting your wisdom teeth out or something. No clue if there is remotely any basis to that claim. The real reason it is probably the norm in the US is because it's a tradition that has been propagated through time.

I was not circumcised at birth, but apparently my brother had something wrong with his doo-daa about foreskin sticking to it or growing over it and not retracting or some shit, so when they did him, they threw me in for free (high likelihood of similar affliction so they told my Mum - I was only 2 or 3 at the time being born in the UK where it was not common practice).
I can solemnly confess to have had well over 100 partners over the course of my sexual life to date, and have never had a complaint, but have been told too many times for it to be pillow talk BS that girls like the aerodynamic version, and when probed they often refer to poor hygiene practices of the uncut as the reason for their cut preference.
So there are legitimate health reasons for the unkindest cut, and it seems to be a hit with most females - although my sample is somewhat suspect.

I'd like to add that I am uncircumcised and sort of wish I was because it would be easier to clean. I can't speak to the female side of things, but I do think that there is a significant hygienic benefit to being more streamlined.

I'm not really understanding the cleaning point. It's not exactly a hardship, is it? It would be slightly easier to wash my hands if I didn't have little fingers by virtue of there being less hand to wash, but that's not a convincing argument to cut those fingers off.

My knowledge of the mechanics of circumcision is a little suspect as I've never actually seen one, so I'm hoping someone can confirm or deny a potential myth picked up from American films. Is it true that circumcised Americans (or to use the correct terminology, victims of male genital mutilation) need to use a lubricant to aid masturbation? A pet theory is that the practice may have been born out of an effort to stop people going blind, so to speak.

1 had over 90% of the sex I'm ever likely to have.
&2 had decades of experience with things like, being introduced to strangers by one​ particular male friend as "Meet donkey dick" etc, which has a novelty value for the first few years but becomes rather tiresome after a decade or so.
As I noted, the reactions of other chaps is another thing I've had decades of experience with.
I would also re~emphasise the fact that I am well aware that there are a reasonable number of men with larger sets of "wedding tackle" than myself, I expect that they have had similar experiences on their journey through life.
Similar experiences with the responses of other chaps & women.
Or things like a temporary loss of conciousness during sex, the common factors for me with this have been, I'm on my back with my head raised on pillows, with the woman on top & pounding me in a frenzied state and I start seeing bright spots and then I black out completely.
It is what it is. Your amused disbelief is quite normal, I'll take that over envy & hostility and continue on unaffected.
That is a difference between the reactions of women to men. Most women, in my opinion, after the initial surprise attach far less significance to the "size issue" than the majority of chaps. Yes there have been a few women who have changed their mind about consent, but most simply accept it for what it is. Their egos are unaffected. Not so with men.
