Ora, I know a lot of people who voted leave. Literally none of them voted leave to stop immigration or send immigrants back. None of them were remotely interested in what Spain decided to do with their immigrant communities.

I literally know a Polish family who have lost count of the number of times, since the Brexit vote, that they have been approached in public and asked "why haven't you fucked off home, don't you know we've got Brexit now so you have to leave?"

We all have an anecdote or two. I know that a lot of English people are racists because I have seen and heard it enough with my own eyes and ears.
