One of the things I find most nuts about the attempted coup is that people involved (including a state congressman from West Virginia) were proudly posting their exploits to social media while it was happening.

They must have thought they were doing the right thing, that they would be seen as "heroes of the coup" when this was all over. How wrong they will turn out to be.
