As their group contains Scotland, Fiji, and Italy, it seems that a fear of travel wasn't high on their priority list. They just happened to be landed with (keeping disrespect to Scottish Rugby to the bare minimum) a cake walk whilst England Ireland and Wales found themselves up against two title contenders and a Georgia.

In fairness no one is treating the tournament as much more than a set of autumn internationals and glorified friendlies, but even so an attempt at balance would have been nice.
