Re: Joe biden is elected the next president of the United States.
In my opinion the imminent Election victory for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is just wonderful and we can look forward with hope and some optimism that there is a peaceful transfer of power.
That transfer of power doesn't occur until mid January 2021, so the last month's of Trump's Presidential term will be difficult and I predict that Trump's dishonesty, denial of facts and reality will continue to increase, he is likely to promote even more division and violence, insist that he won the election but it was stolen from him with delusional claims and dangerous actions.
My hope is that the Republican Party realises that it has to distance itself from Trump, stop supporting his dishonesty etc; that they find ways to get Trump supporters to become supporters of traditional Republican Party policies, values etc. That is, the Republic Party finds ways to get the "more sensible, more reasonable" citizens from the 70 million who voted for Trump back to the Republican Party on it's terms, not on theirs.
So it's time for Republicans to step up and put it on Trump to behave properly, to call out his delusional dishonesty and dangerous propaganda.
