It is a violation of federal law to falsify a National Weather Service forecast and pass it off as official, as President Trump did here.

Can Trump be prosecuted under Federal law? Surely he gets to pardon himself automatically... Now get him under state law some place with a democrat as governor! That would be a different story...

Trump while president can't be tried for federal law violations in court. He can be charged so after he leaves office he can be tried and not claim that the clock has run out on the statute of limitations.

Trump has claimed he can pardon himself, however that has never been tried and there are questions on whether his power does allow that.

This is more of one more example of the corruption from Trump bringing his own swamp to Washington. Especially with him making a 9th tweet trying to say he was right and his aides frantically digging up supporting evidence.
