Hey all,

I am in need of a thrashing by some high quality gunboat players before my ego gets too big. So in the same vein as the ongoing full press GR challenge that Yonni organized, who is interested in a Gunboat GR challenge?

Add your name to this list in order of Gunboat GR rank, and we will see how many games we can end up filling.

I am thinking of having the games start mid October, something like Oct 15. For the game settings, they are also flexible, but how does something like this sound for a start?

SoS scoring
Hidden draw votes
3 excused misses

Each table can agree to modify these settings as desired.

3 excused missed turns is too many for my liking, it could lead to a lot of delays.

I'm happy to drop the excused missed turns to 1 or 0, I don't intend on using them myself.

Once the players in each group are established, we can decide the most popular options for the game settings from among those players. I have no problem with the settings you propose.

I may not have a high GB rating, but since gimix's Social Square gunboat series lost momentum in the signups, I'm in.

I was thinking position (I'm a long way from a GR rating of 299!)

I hope a disparity of GR ranks doesn't discourage people from joining. This whole setup is an opportunity to group similarly ranked players together. I certainly felt apprehensive about my Full Press GR rank in that GR Challenge but I'm treating it as a good growth and learning opportunity.

So please, anyone feel free to join, no matter your rank.

Well I have some bad luck. Ive got a huge test for my law class coming up so i will probably drop out just to be safe. Also id rather have an experienced player take my spot
