Ghost Rating Challenge - Public Press Edition

Hi Everyone,

Today marks my 10 year anniversary of joining the site and, coincidentally, looks like the day that the final game from the previous GR challenge is going to finally end. I had a really fun game last time so I wanted to do it again but with a small twist to keep things fresh - let's play some Wilsonian Diplomacy.

For the uninitiated, a Ghost Rating challenge is a great way to find people of equal 'skill' to play against. To sign up, simply add your name to the list in the order according to your Ghost Rating Overall Position. That can be found in your WebDip (not forum) profile. As the list fills up, it will be split into groups of 7 to form games. Last round we got over 35 people to sign up and had 5 games. Hopefully we can get a bunch again now.

By default, let's say the games are 48hr/turn, 5:points:, and public press but feel free to change things up once the groups are formed.

Goldie, it can be 48 hrs/turn and pretty casual. If it would make playing easier, we can make sure it doesn't start until after you've set up in the next round of the WC. I'll just add your name to the list so you can see how it looks there.

I've been playing Diplomacy since the 80's, but have played, I'm fairly sure, exactly one public press game. And I got destroyed because I'm not even sure that I understand the theory on public press. So, I share the love (and my GR) herewith:
