Hi,
I'm trying to create a game but I need a feature that i'm not sure if it is available.
What we need is to set a freeze timebox to pause and resume the game automatically. We want a 4 hours phase but only from 12:00 to 24:00, meaning that from 24:00 to 12:00 we want the game to be pause. Is that possible? if not... any idea to get close to that configuration?
Thanks!
Pause during nights

Re: Pause during nights
There is a pause vote button that activates a pause mid game as soon as all players have pressed it. The pause is ended in the same way. If you're playing as a group of friends who all agree to this it should be easy enough to turn it on and off as required.
Frankly, though, I reckon you're better off making it 24 hour phases and just agreeing to all vote "ready" before pre-agreed times. This will keep it ticking over nicely, and let you all get your beauty sleep when needed.

Thanks for answer :)
I like second option about 24 hours. In that case I have one more question. Every time all players hit "ready" the time phase restarts, right? I mean, if last player hits "ready" at 20:00 next deadline would be 20:00 next day but, if all players hit "ready" before 20:00 (15:00 i.e.) the phase time restarts from that point.
is all that I say correct?

Re: Pause during nights
I believe so, yes. It's been a while since I've done it to be honest. It used to be done quite a lot in 10 minute live games so you'd have enough time to enter orders in the late stages when you had a dozen or so units, but could hurry through the early stages when a retreat could be sorted in a matter of seconds. Well, that was the plan anyway. The reality more often than not was that someone went awol and you spent half an hour doing a crossword waiting for things to tick over
.
I am a little behind the times, though. If others have better solutions feel free to suggest them
